hey guys i was wondering if anyone has fished wixom lake in central michigan in the last few days? if any one has i was wondering how ya did and what ya used. also i was wondering if the more experience anglers would give me some tips or pointers on what to use during this time of year.... the lake is a 2300 acre lake with a main river running thro it, it has boat docks some wood and nice drop offs along the banks. the water clarity is stained but am afraid it may be muddy from all the rain we have had in the last few days. it holds large mouth and small mouth. any tips or info how to fish it?
i was wondering if any one had ideas on where i could gets some braided line lube at? i have 10 pound braid and when ever i get a back lash it must burn the line alittle because the next time i get a back lash it will cut my line off, and my lure will go flying! is there any thing else i can use beside braid line lube?
I live in michigan and my strangest fishing story probly would be when i caught a dog fish on senko. and my friend also caught a dog fish on pop r. ive also have hooked a cotton mouth missouri!!!
I was wondering how do u kno what rod type to select when fishing cranks, spinners, topwater, etc...? does it say on the rod when u buy it or is it all personal choice? cuz ive been bass fishing for 5 years and i just buy what feel right or good with me! is that a good thing or not? any tips or advise would be helpful!
