  1. I fish the Willow Landing harbour in a 12 ft, Jon boat. I carry two batteries to deal with the tides and it does great.
  2. Outstanding! Thanks for the input. I'll be hitting the waters for crappie and bass and will report back with the results.
  3. Are the fish still biting in Nov. & Dec in the Potomac? Bass and Crappie? Thanks for any advice. I'll be fishing in the Willow Landing area on Sunday morning.
  4. I've always used Rat-L-Traps in fast moving water and have consistently caught fish on them for years. Not my favorite, but definately a good burner to see if the fish will chase. My go to bait has always been a 6-8" purple worm for all conditions. Money, baby! Most overated for me personally has been jigs. But most likely because I'm not working them properly or in the right areas.
  5. How late in the year are you fishing on the Potomac? Thanks for the report!
  6. Thanks, friend! I went by Gander Mountain on rte 3 today and spoke to a very helpful man in the fishing section. He fishes the area quite often and gave me a lot of pointers for fishing there. Living this close to water is a dream come true. Thanks again.
  7. Hello All - I'm farely new to the area (Stafford) and haven't had too much time to fish. I live off of Hope Drive in Stafford and would like to learn about fishing in the Willow Landing area. I don't have any experience fishing brim waters. Any advice for fishing the harbour would be appreciated. What types of fish are in there and some good methods? I fished for bass there once in my 12ft jon. Hooked a bass but didn't land it. Any pan fish to take my four year to catch? Thanks in advance!
