  1. I use 2 rods. Megabass XX flat side special and the spinnerbait special. Great rods.
  2. 1. 1/2 oz War Eagle or SK burner double willow spinnerbait in chartruese/white.-1 gold/1 silver blade. 2. SK red eye shad in chrome/blue. 3. Zoom super fluke fished weightless in pearl white. 4. 1/2 jig in blue/blk 5. SK KVD 1.5 in chartruese/blk or an Xcalibur XS4 jerkbait in chrome/ blue
  3. I use Tatsu on my spinning setup, Invizx on my moving baits, casting setups, and braid on my flipping setup. Never used Sunline.
  4. Thank God I stocked up on Xcalibur baits before they stopped making them. They make some of my favorite baits ever with the XS4 as my go to jerkbait.
  5. They're all good but Zoom has been good to me.
  6. People tend to use what the pro's are using to win tournaments. You see it every year or so. A new bait makes its way to the market and everyone runs out to buy them. They seem to forget what got hem there or even what got them catching fish in the first place. What I mean is baits like spinnerbaits, grubs, tubes, ribbon tail worms, inline spinners, etc.....have fallen out of popularity because they are no longer considered special baits. Most would like to say they caught a fish on a Wagasaki colored Megabass vision 110 or some other $20+ bait. Thats fine with me and I have some baits in that price range too, but I will NEVER not throw a spinnerbait, a grub, a tube, a worm or an inline spinner. They have worked for me for close to 30 years and will continue to work for me.
  7. Whats your budget per bait? Also, for up to 3ft or so, I would do a weightless fluke.
  8. For me, its the same as what I use in the spring. Lipless cranks, square bills, weightless flukes, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, grubs, craws, topwater, jigs.....
  9. Seaguar tatsu
  10. Just make one
  11. I use them with great success all year round.
  12. Good question. I am looking for the best spinning rod $200 or less too for my brothers. I have my eye on the Avid-X.
  13. 6'10" would make the perfect compromise.
  14. I bought a pack of the F2 dingers and the new dingers last night. The difference is the amount you get in the bag now. They put less in the new ones.
  15. Looks like I'm going this weekend. Thanks
  16. Ok, great. Thanks for the info. Look forward to your review after you test it out. Is the rod tip heavy?
  17. Hey Dwight, did you get your rod and have you tried it out yet?
  18. What do you guys think about saving even more money and getting the new Loomis E6X rods for moving baits and NRX for jigs, worms, etc...? Anyone try the new E6X yet?
