  1. 10" power worm. I like it in motor oil, black, and watermelon
  2. I have both 12 and 15# CXX for different applications. The 12# I use for spinnerbaits, topwater, swimbaits. 15# for t-rigged plastics, jigs, heavy, slow moving bottom baits. I also use 10# CXX for all crankbaits. Just remember the KVD line cond. Makes a HUGE difference.
  3. I also went out today and used the KVD L&L on 15# CXX and it worked wonders. I though It was gonna be a difficult time out there with this line but to my pleasant surprise, It was great. I also use it on my Hybrid line reels too.
  4. Thats just crazy. A line forming outside of BPS at 8am.
  5. I initially did grease it lightly. I thought if I put more it wont make a rough sound. The original setup had a lot of grease. I thought I'd do the same. The reel still functions but now with a slightly rougher and noisier feel to it. Should I re-grease the gears with a different reel grease? Is there anyone here that cleans and re-lubes reels that would know?
  6. I pulled out all my reels today to re-lube them before the season starts. I did all of my baitcasters and they came out smooth as can be. Then I started the spinning reels and after the first one, it started making a rough noise. The reel is a Quantum Energy Pt30i. I just recently bought the Quantum Hot Sauce grease and oil for my reels. I took the spinning reel apart and removed the old grease from the gears. I replaced it with the Hot Sauce grease, put the reel back together(yes, exactly the same way), and spun the handle and it felt rough. Definitely not like my other spinning reels. I thought maybe I didnt put enough grease and the gears were grinding so I took it apart again and added more grease. Same rough feeling. I just cant figure it out. Now I wish I didnt remove the original grease. What do you think it could be? What are my options?
  7. My go to bait is a spinnerbait. Been fishing them since the beginning. I have a lot of confidence in them and they are very versatile. I Have many different name brands but tend to fish a lot of Strike Kings.
  8. I love fishing tubes in the spring. I also like fishing spinnerbaits.
  9. cast with my right, reel with my right.

  11. cant wait. a couple of more weeks for me though
  12. I have one and been using it for the last 16 yrs believe it or not. I love it. Ok, so it not the most technologically advanced spinning reel in the market, but it hasnt broke of failed on me once. Sometimes less is more.
  13. I stocked up on the YUM craw papi's for this coming season and I really like the way they look. I cant wait to use them.
  14. YUM craw papi
  15. I've been using Quantum rods and reels for 20 yrs now and not once did I have a problem with them. I use them exclusively.
  16. I will be fishing swimbaits for the first time this year. Mostly Sebiles and soft plastic swimbaits. I will be using a Quantum Tour Edition PT Gary Klein signature series rod. I have 2 of these rods. One for deep cranking and one will be for the swimbaits. Its 7' M/H with a mod. action and parabaloic bend to it. I like it for treble hook baits which will make it perfect for deep cranks and swimbaits.
  17. 15# P-line CXX for my jigging and heavy t-rigged baits, 12# P-line CXX for my baitcast worming combo, and 8# Seaguar Invisix fluoro for my spinning combos for small light jigs and light t-rigged baits like finesse worms, grubs, and tubes. I also have some Yo-zuri hybrid I'm gonna try out too
  18. those are some chunky mofo's! nice
  19. I use a 6'10" Quantum Tour Edition Kevin VanDam Signature Series for the heavier(1/2-1oz) spinnerbaits its MH with a fast action. I also use a 6'6" Med/fast BPS Woo Daves Extreme rod for lighter spinnerbaits.
  20. I had Vanish last year and its pure GARBAGE! This season I'm using Seaguars Invizix. I hope its good.
  21. I was at Walmart today and picked up some Mizmo tubes for $2.50, some SK bitsy jigs for $1.67 and 2 spools of Yozuri Hybrd 600yrds for $3.00 each!
