  1. Daiwa Tatula HD. Cousin bought one last week on ebay for $110 shipped. Brand new.
  2. 1. Who is the one person you would take fishing with you or take again (alive or past)? My Grandfather 2. What's 1 rod/reel setup you would start with (around $150)? The same exact set up I bought back in 1992. My first baitcast setup I bought from BPS. I was 15yrs old. Paid $125. It was a 6'6" MH Quantum tour rod and Quantum Pro 2C.(still have both) I learned A LOT with that rod and reel and became a more fanatical fisherman as a result. 3. What's 1 piece of advice you'd give yourself? There is no standard answer from anything.
  3. According to some-too much. According to me-just the beginning. Its a full blown addiction. And I love it.
  4. I really have no clue, but that bait is their newest jerkbait. Maybe a year or so?
  5. They dropped the price on it.
  6. Luck Craft Lightning pointer XR. $8.99. GREAT jerkbait.
  7. My favorites are the newest ones. The Lightning pointer XR.
  8. chrome/blue back, orange belly gold/black back ghost minnow tennessee shad chartreuse shad
  9. My favorites are War Eagle, SK burners and Revenge. I will try some Nichols this season too.
  10. I've never fished a chatterbait
  11. Couldnt pass these up for $120 each. Tatula CT Type-R-6.3, 7.3, 8.1
  12. A swivel will help with line twist, but it will impede movement a bit. I fish a weightless fluke all year round and fished both with and without a swivel and without a swivel is hands down the best for movement.
  13. Yes, it is. Maybe not as much as something like CXX, but its very good for fluoro. I fish in reservoirs where there are a lot of rocks and I have never had it break off.
  14. If you want to branch out, I suggest you try out Invizx first. Its a very manageable fluoro line that cast extremely well.
  15. I use Seaguar Invizx for all my moving baits. I like the little stretch it has. Excellent for jerkbaits, cranks, and spinnerbaits. I use Seaguar Tatsu on my spinning setup and my worm/jig setup. Its excellent line. I use Sunline FX2 braid on my frog/pitchin' setup. Best braid IMO. I also keep one reel with 15lb P-Line CXX for topwater.
  16. I have a problem buying everything, but I love buying jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, squarebills and lipless cranks.
  17. New combo. Steez SV6.3R and MB Orochi XX fast moving special.
  18. They're all good. I've had success with Spro, Booyah and SK KVD.
  19. I have the perfect jerkbait for you. The new Lucky Craft XR 98 Lightning pointer. $8.99. Same quality as the $16 ones. They dropped the price on them. Excellent jerkbait. http://www.***/outdoors/***/story/1697839-lucky-craft-lightning-pointer-xr-review
  20. I'll take a grub over anything for an all year around plastic. Tube would be second.
  21. Moderate rod? Screw it, go for braid.
