  1. I'm gonna be changing my current reels and want to know some info from owners/users of this reel. I like the components and the great reviews I see online, but want direct owners reviews.
  2. cant post a link but go to TW and look up Quantum rods and you'll see them
  3. These are the the TE PT sig.series rods. I'm talking about.
  4. All I know is that he had/has 2 specific rods. The one that came out about 10 yrs ago which is the Quantum Tour Edition PT Signature series KVD spinnerbait rod. It is 6'10" MH. It has a Lifetime warranty and retailed for $199. Thats the rod I have. I've been using it for 5 yrs and has been a great rod. Light, and sensitive. The other is the newer, "red" rods that he came out with a few years ago. I have no clue about those. I know that the one I have, and I also have about 12 more of the TE PT rods, and they are excellent rods. I wouldnt hesitate to buy more. NEVER any problems or breaks or anything wrong with them.
  5. I'm not 100% sure which one you're referring to, but I have the older Tour Edition PT Signature series KVD spinnerbait rod and its a great rod. Can also be used for T-rigged plastics.
  6. I fish Quantum exclusively and currently fish tour edition PT rods. They have been great. Sensitive, light, strong, and well balanced. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another.
  7. Sure it will. 13 degrees is not a small drop in temp.
  8. 3/0 EWG gamakatsu-weightless-quick, downward, side-jerks
  9. I just ordered 6 Smithwick Rogue Perfect 10's from Cabelas. Cant wait to get them and fish them
  10. try a spinnerbait
  11. I'm gonna try to fish more stuff I dont use much or dont have much confidence in. Like, deep crankbaits, lizards, senkos, jigs.
  12. I'd love to try these. I think they'll be good for trout in the reserviors as well
  13. between the two, I will always take the lipless crank. Its way more versatile.
  14. I have fished the money minnow for several years now. I prefer them over the shadalicious. I like that they are softer and therefore have a better paddle tail movement. I rig them on Gamakatsu weighted superline EWG
  15. a weightless, zoom super fluke in peal white is my go-to bait. I like to fish it pretty quickly to exaggerate the erratic movements.
  16. They have a prettier finish. lol
  17. Xcalibur for me. Its been deadly last few years.
  18. Thats the one that caught my eye first.
  19. Cant wait to get these. These will be perfect in the reservoirs by me.
  20. I'm not interested in their spinning reels. Only baitcasters.
  21. $145 sounds good too! I'll keep an eye out for them. Ebay has always been VERY good to me. Sorry, righty only Thanks. I wonder how the Quantum Smoke is compared to the Tourn. Pro? They're both the same price.
