get the heavy , you got to remember that you don't want the rod too stiff (would be good for flipping , not good for casting unless you throw swimbaits heavy enough to let the rod load up to cast decently )

Bye Slimecoat... that is true about their slime coat , if you were to use a plastic bag to weigh them , put water in it , zero out the scale , then put the fish into the bag ..

i must have , maybe cause the tackle store near me does not sell alot of it ( they have alot though ! ) and the guys there say that not many people like it . i guess i might try some more some time on one of my backup spinning set-ups ...

is that the same for ultra-soft , cause i was using 6 lb. and that stuff's memory got worse , couldn't cast light weight baits far at all , towards the end of the day , i took it off the reel .

i'm so glad i live in San Diego , Ca . ;D ;D ;D , i can fish 365 days a year . only time it is not to good to fish is when it rains hard , but i'm a diehard and don't let the rain bother me !!!

when placing it in the gills , only place it in the part that is closest to the tip of his mouth , meaning don't put it in where the red part of the gils as you can make the fish bleed out and cause serious damage . think of the red part of the fishes gills as their lungs , they are sensitive , and release the fish quickly after you weigh it and take a picture ....

i use the craw papi , love those things

btw, Bass Pro Shops XPS florocarbon is around 7-9 dollars cheaper than seaguar invsx , or maybe try seaguars red label ......

for me , the butt of the split grip makes for better two-handed casting , and yes , like everyone else , i want my rod to be the lightest it can be , splitgrips do that ! plus i never have my hands in the middle of the grip anyway , i palm my reels , just wanting a 2"-3" rear grip for my hand that goes below the reel seat

yo-zuri has alot of memory , i actually only used the ultra-soft , and it is supposed to have alot less memory :-/ i have checked it out(the hybrid) at a local tackle store and i would not want to deal with it . maybe try some P-line floroclear . maybe some one will give you their thoughts on floroclear , heard good things about it ...

Lucky Craft swimbaits and Strike Pro . these are the lucky Craft swimbaits wich are built very weak , and yes , i know LC re-did them but i would never buy one or even if some one was to give me one for free , i would not want it ....

believe it or not , i got about 25 + bags of soft plastics in there !! i put two -three bags per page ( mostly bigger size worms , alot of plastic craws , craw trailers , plastic frogs, etc..)i magine if you have smaller worms(like 4" robo worms for example) you could fit ALOT of bags in there!!! when i bought the binder at BPS , i also got some of the BPS replacement "pages" to add to it but they are too small , they fit but are too short . want to get more of the original Browning jumbo size binder "pages" ,don't know if browning sells them cause i can't seem to find them at BPS . anyhow , i much prefer the Browning over the BPS ones , Browning ones are alot better built ... hope this helps

want to try the Z-MAN Floating WormZ . they look pretty dang good , tail stands straight up and has good movement . been using Zoom trick worms in baby bass and Robo worms fat straight tail worm in sxe shad.

i have the "jumbo" Browning binder , very well made . i have mine STUFFED ;D

i think you know what i mean !! CXX is a very dense line in test beyond 15 lb. , it is kinda like floruocarbon in it's feel . as for using 20 lb. CXX for swimbaits that weigh only 3 oz. (wake jr.) you could use 15 lb. line . i throw my Tylures 8" kicker trouts (wake/floater is 3 oz. and my slow sink is 3.5 oz.) on 12 lb. CXX ...

i use screw in bullet weights cause i hate when the weight goes thru the mat but the bait gets hung up in grass , so instead of messing with pegging them , i use screw in type weights . here are some that i recommend -Kanji Senkin X-Metal Bullet Weights , Gambler Tungsten Screw In Florida Rig Weights , and Bullet Weights Perma Color Screw-In Weights

try Bullet Weights , screw-in bullet weights . they work very well . i use them on 10" worms when i want to swim them along slowly thru grass and shallow areas . i trim the plastic tube down flush with the back of the weight .....

Floater - 20lb CXX Sinker - 20lb CXX or 100% Trilene Fluoro be careful with 20 lb. CXX , i have cast off 3 8" hudds , 2 bbz-1 8" slowsinks and 1 fast sink with that line due to kinks in the line , CXX is so brittle in the higher lb. lines that if you get a kink in it , it WILL break !!! may i suggest better line , try Izorline XXX in 25 lb. line for baits weighing 4 or more oz. since going to this line (the XXX) i have not cast off a bait . for baits that weigh more than 7 oz. , i go up to 30 lb. , for baits over 10 oz. , go up to 40 lb. ....

for me , 15 lb. line is too much , maybe if your using floro , cause it is usually thinner than mono or co-poly . but for deep diving crankbaits , i usually use 10 lb. P-line CXX , but am gonna re-spool with 8 lb. CXX , that stuff is plenty strong , could actually gain a few feet of diving depth . remember that the thinner the line , the less resistance there is , causing the lure to go deeper

haven't got one yet but alot of my friends do and they say it slays the big girls !!! they tell me it is definitely worth every penny. don't you notice that 90% of the places are sold out of them , that's how good they are
