  1. Chompers, 3/8 and 1/2oz. Been using them since they started putting them on the shelf at the first BPS in northern IL. They have a unbelievable amount of colors and priced right. They comve 2 per package and cost 4.59 / For 2. I am waiting on my next order for Bass X Jigs. Seen them used on 2 different tv shows and the lakes they fish are the same I'll be fishing this year. ;D Table Rock, Beaver, and Lake of the Ozarks. Seen them used on Crooked Creek River in Yellville Ark. and he was getting a bunch of quality fish. Might try some of the Georgia Jigs in the future also. Lee
  2. Your problably right about that, I'll just wait to the website comes up or if I get anxious I'll call and see what colors are available. I usually use a 3/8oz or 1/2oz jig. So that at leasts narrows it down. Usually use about 5-7 different colors. But I'll be down on Table Rock in March and that's a whole different story. Any make any suggestions other than brown and cinn. purple. Thanks for info and suggestion. Lee :-/ :-/
  3. Thank you all. I spoke with Clayton today about the jigs and they are setting up a website and I told him about how everyone here helped me find them. He asked how does a chicago boy find out about a jig in northern Arkansas. I simply said BASS FISHING, he understood and told me the website should be up in a couple of weeks. If anyone gets over there email pictures to me or send me 1 of each, color, and size. I will gladly pay you for shipping and cost of the lures. Lee S. 4. Hey guys, I just joined and started going through the forums and found the Illinois post. Live in Oswego, just west of Naperville. I am at BPS about once a week. I pass by there at least 4 times a week. Hard to not stop by, they have a clearance bin all the time on plastics and cranks. I fished Pondo at Mazonia, used to walk that area alot before they made it into a state park. I fish alot in the local area, live minutes from the fox but I travel to Batavia and Geneva because of the eddies and backflows offer more bites. If a meet and bs session is upon us, give at least a 2-3 week notice. Couple of good breakfast places I know in that area. Lee
  5. Braidwood, LaSalle, Mazonia, Shadow Lakes, and small ponds west of yorkville. Thanks for the warm welcomes. Lee
  6. Just to make sure, I saved the show he talked about and he said Bass X in brown with purple flash.
  7. Don't know if I am spelling this right or not. I am looking for a jig by Bass X. I was watching a show on TV, Fishin Hawg Country and they were using a jig by Bass X. Can someone email me or reply and let me know where I can get them. I have tried all the local area shops and can't find them. If this is an local manufacturer to the Arkansas area or Table Rock Lake area can you supply a link or a phone number. Thanks in advance. Lee S. James
  8. new to the Bass Fishing Forum community. Glad to be a part of it, have been fishing since 78. My grandfather's love for fishing brought me to the sport. Love to fish the IL. area but really love the area of the Ozarks, Table Rock, and Norris Lake and Dam. Hope to contribute something. Lee S. James
