Nice MARsSPEED! Like you, I got to get out for the first time in a while. Decided to hit Dickerson C&O. Managed 2 small bass on a D-bomb and a monster catfish on a spinnerbait.

Nice! Thanks for the heads up Nate! Looks like the water level is up so not sure how productive shore fishing would be (my boat won't be ready for a while yet). :-/

It seems like forever since I've been able to get out or post on here. So welcome to all the new members! Looks like I actually have some time to get out tomorrow. Thought about Black Hills but no clue what the condition are like there (mostly interested in clarity). Anyone been to Cunningham Falls? Any suggestions are welcome!

Bill don't beat yourself up. Hit culler last evening and had one hit, that was all. This morning I hit the pond over on Wedgwood and technically caught 2 but since the one was smaller than the crank I was using, I'm just counting the one that went about a pound. LOL

What time were you there? I was there from about 5-7. I had one hit but didn't stick it. I may head out in the AM for a little, not sure where yet. About the best part of the evening for me was the young guy I talked to for 10 minutes or so. May have talked him into joining us here.

Ok. Not quite lunchtime but I'm gonna pop over to culler for a little while this evening.

Welcome to THE boards Scoob! Sorry for the delay in responding! Yes, I'm referring to Culler lake when I say Baker Park. That's what I was told it was when I was first moved down here many moons ago. Kinda like there's a spot on Black Hills that I refer to as Dead Squirrel. LOL! I help coach my daughter's soccer team so Tuesdays and Thursdays are booked. I MIGHT be able to pop over tomorrow after work for a little while. I'll try to post tomorrow around lunch time to confirm.

Missed me by about an hour 301. LOL! I was throwing a lipless crank.There are some HUGE carp in there too, that may be what you saw jumping but just a guess.

301, I have not found any info saying there is still an age restriction anymore. I've only fished the lake. I had a little free time this evening, so popped over for about an hour and managed one good one this evening. Finally broke the 5lb mark this year (5-1). Here's a pic.

I started last year. Can't say I've caught any that big out of there yet. Nice catch MARs!

Nice toothy critter Bill! Good to see everyone catching! I managed to get the monkey off my back this evening after work. I popped over to Baker park for a little while. I managed that went 2-8 on the scale. I had 2 other hits, one was definitely a bass (go a look at it when it rolled on the surface and threw the hook, the other I'm not sure but it was heavy and took some drag before popping free.

Nice report BigTerp! There used to be a few nice size lily pad spots as well. Yeah, like big pool but shallower if I remember correctly.

Again, its been a LONG time since I've been there. The ramps were dirt and gravel back then (VERY basic).

Fished a couple tournaments there years ago. There were some good ones in there but were few and far between. My best outing there was a night trip in the summer time. Landed about 20, but nothing over a pound.

Anyone get out this weekend? Managed a short outing st black hills. Missed 2 on a crank while I was waiting to get a temp and foul hooked a sucker. LOL! Its time for a new thermometer. Mine said the lake was 50.

I've fished areas smaller than a football field that have held anywhere between 4 to 10 skis. One area in.particular, had 2 confirmed over 45". And you're right Allen, tie on your most expensive bait and you're almost guaranteed to loose it to a ski. LOL

Tuck, I can't even remember the last time I hit the warm waters and they were actually discharging. :-/

Nate, it's been several years since I've messed with muskies but my dad turned me on bucktail jigs years ago. I've managed a couple myself on them. Good to know there's still some good ones around! I'd like to say that this will be the year I get back into them but I'm still tryin to figure out when I will get my first outing in for bass. :-/

Check out the MD Who's Who thread. Looking back through the pages, I'm sure you'll get a decent idea on when it starts. Of course it varies somewhat from year to year.

It was a.last minute decision to go Sunday, otherwise I would've posted. Would've been great to meet up with some more "locals"! Only picked up a pair of spinnerbaits and a pair of buzzbaits. Resisted the urge to stock up on some soft plastics. LOL

What time were you there Nate? I was there around 12.

Anyone been out lately? Anyone find any soft water? LOL! About the closest I've made it to anything fishing related is getting my license, replacing a few lures I lost last season and making it to the Cabin Creek Bassmasters show on Sunday. LOL!
