  1. Went to Southridge Sr high in South Miami heights for almost a year in 2001. No sports
  2. Ah OK. I'm a bit further south than you.
  3. Err, my mistake lol. Speed posting during break doesn't work too well for me.
  4. Good stuff What part of Miami are you from, jigz?
  5. I haven't fished the other two but I was able to cast 1/16 jigs plus trailer with the recon 682 a good distance. Soft tip with decent backbone but small diameter grip. There is the st Croix legend inshore Gulf in their bargain room for the cheap. It is moderate action and probably better suited for trebles though.
  6. I know it's not the same but I had a avail spool in one of my 51e and it transformed the reel into a little casting machine. It was a direct swap.
  7. I bend down all barbs, treble and all. I've lost a few fish from them coming loose but I've also had some with a hook in their eye and the no-barb made quick release very easy.
  8. Tough to pick one. If I'm just trying to catch any size bass, a trigged 4" alive shad will bring em in. Otherwise 4" senkos, super fluke jrs and a Spook Jr will catch me fish anywhere.
  9. I'd say it depends on what you want to do. Are you a light tackle junkie? Whats the typical bait you plan to use the rod for? Any cover or open water? Confined spaces or fishing from boat/open bank?
  10. I'm usually low and left when shooting a new pistola. Trigger control and grip will take care of it. There used to be a chart that shows how you can correct yourself depending on where you hit the target. Man, I need to get to the range soon.
  11. Got pics?
  12. Good stuff raider. I like that font in the always and forever. You doing the boys initials that same style?
  13. I'm diggin that blind reaper. It's been over a decade since I even thought about skateboarding but I liked their logo as well. That was back when jncos were cool, lol.
  14. Up to you, broseph. Meanings would be cool to have a better understanding. Mine is an Aries sign for my daughter.
  15. I see too many people texting while driving and it's infuriating. I've seen people look up from their phone to see they're about to rear-end someone and jump on the brakes. That text, Facebook post or email can wait especially when you're driving a 2+ ton chunk of metal. It's good that what happened wasn't any worse. Lesson learned I hope.
  16. I finally got my second tattoo after nearly 10 years. It'll be the start of what eventually will be come a half or full sleeve. Curious what ink everyone else has fishing related or otherwise.
  17. Uno is the most dangerous thing pictured. Proceed with caution. It's been a while since I picked up a cigar. I had a list of favorites I'll have to find. Good stuff
  18. Does 20# braid plus copoly leader count?
  19. I'm working with my almost 5 year old daughter and it's been a struggle. She's got the casting technique of a spincast down but very little patience. I plan on picking up a short spin combo to broaden the bait choice. We'll see how that goes, lol I always enjoy taking her to the park even if we don't catch anything and she likes it too.
  20. The 1000 size would be a better match for a UL rod and could also cover most bass fishing except for MH - H duties. The ci4 is very light and may make that long of a rod feel tip heavy if you were to go with the 1000 size imo.
  21. I really like roboworm straight tails in bold bluegill or Aaron's magic. How do those iovino and Upton baits compare to roboworm? Do they develop that distinct smell like the robos do?
  22. I don't think it's me. Around town I usually have my daughter and very rarely exceed the speed limit. I don't 'race' around either. The tires were replaced with the factory size and speed traps confirmed my actual speed. I know the rated stats are just that but I got better milage in my '96 blazer with the 4.3l and my wifes rogue is getting 20+ mpg and has the same motor.
