Yes it is a sad state of affairs on Mud Island!! I have tried but really can't get into chucking maggots, sweetcorn or Spam into the fishing ponds. Please point me towards the closest bass waters!!! Unfortunately the only Largemouths this side of the pond seenm to be in politics!!!!!!

Have you tried using a pair of electronics cutters (not electrical!) they usually have decent sized blades and you can usually cut the heads off the rivets without too much effort (Aluminium rivets hopefully)- you then just punch out the rivet remains with a hammer and punch.
