  1. My Tracker was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the fuel pump. $30 for a rebuild kit and it was good as new. Brute
  2. Hey Joedodge. I live in Clearwater and have for about 30 years. Bass fish as much as the wife will let me. Maybe we can get together one of these days. Brute
  3. Just throw a top water frog on 65 lb braid and play him for about 5-10 minutes. The near death experience will make him stay away from boats. Oh by the way , you will lose your frog. Brute
  4. I had a very similar experience with them as well. The only difference was my 1 piece rod was a 2 piece rod when it arrived. UPS sure is tough on stuff. Brute
  5. JB Weld
  6. Call 727-944-2628 for a boat rental. They rent pontoons and john boats with small outboards. Brute
  7. I caught about a 5' alligator on a spro frog once. He put up a good fight for about 10 minutes. When I got him to the boat he gave me that look like what are you going to do now. I'll lip bass all day long but I am not sticking my thumb in a gators mouth. I cut the line and off he went with my frog. Brute
  8. He used to have one when he owned Tarpon Tom's Bait and Tackle. He had to close his doors last year on the tackle shop but he is still guiding on Lake Tarpon. Brute
  9. Give John Jukas a call @ 727-847-3674. He has been guiding there a long time. Brute
  10. I'd use the mono as a backing if it was me. Works good and you can save a little $ Brute
  11. In a pinch, you can place a shim in the bottom half of the front scope ring. It doesn't have to be real thick. I had to do this on one of my rifles. I used a piece of black rubber I had laying around. Cut it so it's the width of the ring and long enough to fill the bottom half. If you are sure everything is on right and the rings match, this will probably be your best option. Brute
  12. Your anchor line should be 5 x the depth you want to drop your anchor in. The water down here never gets deeper than 20 ft so I carry 100 ft of anchor line. Brute
  13. I got the nickname Brutus way back in high school. They just call me Brute for short.
  14. I had the same problem with mine and it turned out to be the breaker. Spent $20 and it is good as new. Brute
  15. Hey George, save some for me. My wife got me a trip there for Christmas with you in March. I can't wait. Brute
  16. Clearwater has some of the nicest beaches in Florida. Nothing better than sitting at a beach bar, sipping a cold one and watching the sunset. Just stay away from downtown and all of the traffic. Red Tide usually happens in the summer, so I don't think that will be a problem in April. If you are looking to do some fishing while you are here, jsut let me know. Brute
  17. 5-9 caught this past Sunday at about 9:30 in the morning on a chrome and blue rattle trap. It was about 70 deg outside and the water was 62 deg. Brute
  18. I live in Clearwater Fl. and they are predicting snow here for the first time in 34 years. I just might be cuddling up with the bait monkey this weekend as well. Just don't tell my wife. Brute
  19. I would run 2 circuits to your shed. 1 x 15 amp dedicated for the microwave and 1 x 15 amp for the fan and lights. You cannot run all of this stuff off of an existing breaker you already have. If you add 2 more breakers and run them back there, you will be fine. Brute
  20. Yeah that will work, but that is an awful lot of outlets on 1 circuit. What all do you plan on having plugged in at one time? Brute
  21. Another vote here for the Pfleugar President. I've got 2 of them and have no complaints. Brute
  22. Lake Walsingham is close to you. I have caught some decent fish there and there is quite a bit of shoreline available so you can fish without a boat. Brute
  23. If you are truely flipping, you don't need the flipping switch. When you flip, you are not letting any more line off of the spool. Brut
  24. I'm leaving after work tomorrow and will be back late Sunday night. Hopefully with some meat to put in the freezer. Brute
