Anybody ever try this ? I use the smaller bitsy bug jigs and I have rigged up some with everything from small finesse worms to the z man zero worms cut in half and the idea popped in my head to try tipping one with a live minnow. My favorite way to fish jigs is to toss them out and very slowly crawl them back on the bottom.I never fish with live bait like minnows so they might fall off in two seconds for all I know...LoL. We're dealing with fluctuating water temps and the typical crawl trailer has been starting to work but this live minnow trailer idea got me thinking.
I've had great luck with the Gambler shakey shad also. A couple others have been the Zoom finesse worm and the Zoom centipede. The Zoom centipede in green pumpkin, nose hooked worked excellent last year.
My 2003 tundra just turned 110k the other day and it still looks great. Besides doing the brakes a couple of times I have never had a problem with it. A few years back Toyota was having a problem with the frames rusting out and would either swap out your frame or spray some type of rust proofing on it for free. I knew guys who had way more miles than me and got new frames. Years back I got the notice to bring mine in for inspection but looked it over myself and my frame looked fine.I ran into a Toyota mechanic the other day who told me I could still get it sprayed for free if I wanted and that my tundra would last me another twelve years if I did.
He's probably been spending too much of his time reading the everything else section on here instead of the other more useful sections Kind of like me.
