  4. My pop used to have a little fun with me, drew a couple dots on each palm of my hands and told me to put my hands up to my ears. As a tiny young lad, I did as instucted but asked him why? He replied,"you're listening to The Ink Spots" and would just howl with laughter!!! I didn't get it.........
  5. The Black Keys - The Big Come Up
  6. Wow.........now I want one............. not at all........................
  7. You guys are missing out on a nice chew on the res!! We have thrown 2 big fish tournaments and 6+ pound fish have won both times!! I've gone out a few times and have caught some very nice aggressive fish up near the splits. Caught a real nice smallie as well!! Sorry nitro, I know you want in on some of that, past two trips have resulted in 3 total with the biggest one around 4 pounds!! You know how I caught them!!!!!!!
  8. I really like the *** black 7'3 MH mod action with revo gen 3 winch 10lb Sunline mono. It's really a dream to fish with! I throw my bigger jb's on this setup.
  9. Jerkbait, if you dont get fish on that, try a drop shot. If that doesn't work, throw a jerkbait!!
  10. I would try to find some isolated cover. Running down a bank, look for lone stick ups, logs, stumps. Make some longer casts, with as little splash as possible. Beaver style baits, senko, fluke matching your baitfish. What is your usual approach to the lake? What features of the lake have been the most successful??
  11. Can you describe the lake you fish and the areas you fish the most?? Personally I would look for main lake points or deeper areas in close proximity to shallow flats and fish those areas where they intersect. Those most likely will be areas that your bigger fish use to get from the shallow feeding areas to deeper resting areas.
  12. Try a football jig in the same areas you have been throwing the shakey head. Minimum 1/2oz, try "stroking" the jig if dragging it doesn't produce a bite. Also try to find some 1/2oz long bill scroungers and thread a zoom superfluke in a color that closely matches the prevelent bait on Anna, shad colors. When you find bait on the graph, count the bait down to or just below the bait and slowly swim it thru!!
  13. Another snakehead was caught during the tournament yesterday!!
  14. Clayton, now you are talking about guilty pleasure movies............ I won't even mention the ones I log time with........
  15. That's it............ That's how it ended............ The two corner guys should get back in with the giant pans they used to clobber the fighters with!!!!!
  16. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Fight Club, Ten Commandments
  17. Picked up a smoke a month or so ago, it's nice, should have spent a few more dollars and gotten another ci4!
  18. Private, have to know someone or live there! ^^^^^^
  19. Had mine go off in the back of my Tahoe on a hot humid day! Have yet to get the rearming kit.....
  20. EPL starts Saturday, that should give you some relief!! Seriously, I don't have any children so I can't help you there, but you obviously love your wife and children. Take a quick step back, take inventory of all the good things in your life right now and focus on how to make things better! I know you can do it, you sir are not a quitter!
  21. Watched the video a few times and to say its disturbing would be an understatement. Not sure why anyone would exit a vehicle while the race is still running, why is that not a rule?? I can see if the car is on fire, but just because you got your panties in a bunch, not a smart move. He then proceeds down to the meat of the track, very "frogger" like, avoids one car and not Stewarts. Tragic to say the least, any one single person at fault, no, can't see it. I believe Stewart could have done more to avoid the accident as well. Dude stays in the car, it's all good. Very sad
  22. Shatner............... the end
  23. Mercer is a tough nut! There is sooooo much forage, no real reason for these fish to opt for artificial!! That being said, you have to present your baits very quietly and carefully. I have had the most success close to the dam. Jerkbaits mostly. The crappie population is very good as well. Used to have a nice number of pickeral in there too! Primary forage is shad and bluegill, crappie and crayfish. I've always wondered if a smartly fished fluke would catch them............... I know what I'm trying next time!!!!
