for me in depends on the lake i am fishing and how pressured it gets...there is one lake that they wont hit anything with braid but usually yes straight braid works
there are probably some big ones in there i have a friend who lives in the city limits that has 6 and 7 lbers...you mainly catch dinks but catch a little blue gill and tie it on i bet you find a big one if it is roaming.
First off commercial fishing at least has a chance at a profit and second i work at a canoe livery that has close to a thousand boats...i get enough of canoes and kayaks
So far this summer my boat has been a money pit. From little things such as a bag connection in the trolling motor plug to having to buy a new trolling moter. Has anyone else had a streak of luck like this? Im beginning to wonder if fishing from the bank may be more fun and less costly.
Just wondering wat u guys throw when u fish in the channels or where abouts you fish along the channel such as points along it etc any input would be appreciated.
The lake I normally fish always gets hammered with tournaments and there are always multiple people fishing. My problem is everytime i go to fish boat docks it seems there are no fish in the lake and i have tried everything from jigs to soft plastics to crank and jerkbaits. Does anyone have any other ideas plus the lake is getting really tough no matter what you throw at them im sure they see it two or three times a day. Any help would be great.
it seems strange but somedays at the lake i fish with the most boat traffic you could imagine brings on the best fishing even better than through the week
