  1. Oh wow, where to start. I have improved alot this year and became a better angler. This is my 3rd season seriously targetting Bass, haven't fished for anything else this year beside Salmon(3 days now). My goal this year was to learn how to use a BC. I can now Skip, Pitch and Flip. I can also use both right hand and Lefty reels. I can cast to the next area code now too. I have learned to fish SLOW. Tough it out when the bite gets tough. Topwater lure was also new this year, still working on improving my skills. Over all, I will con't to learn new things and con't to hone in my skills in stuff I have already learned. Thanks to the net the learning process was a fast one and lots of info out there. ;D

Sam, Yes, Rochesert NY( 1 hour east of Buffalo) COLD is not the word for it up here...... but you can still fish for bass thur a hole in the ice..LOL I have never done it personaly and won't try either. I saw that there is a few other guys from my area and I heard abotu this place from Lunkerville and a friend. Great place and I have been reading a lot of great post on here. ;D
  3. I would look into a SUMP system for filtration. check out Reef Central.com , in the large tank section for ideas on sump system. I know it's a Saltwater site, but the equipment/idea can still be used in Freshwater aquariums. I had many aqurium and I have keep a few Peacock/Pacus/Arowana(not all at once) in a 90 gallon with a 135 gallon sump with no issue byside them out grown the tank in a few years. If you do keep LM, make sure you get a bottom feeder and Alge eater too. The big they are the more they eat and the more poop they produce. All i can say is water quality is key and to get that is a good filtration system.

  6. Hello to all, My name is Kase, I'm from Rochester NY. I have been fishing since I can remember. I can still remember my father and brothers taking me out for pan fish during the day and staying over night for cats. I would beg my mom to let me tag along with them or cry my eyes out to go. ;D About 6 years ago, I have got serious about Bass fishing. I got the bug from watching the Pros on ESPN and the Fishing shows on the weekend or rerun at night. ;D After that I picked up as many books and magazine I could find on Bass fishing. I'm still reading and learning but now from fourms and guys I meet thur them. I'm looking foward to reading and learning from here too. Sorry for the long boring intro... ~Kase
