I have gill hooked a few fish in my life. None of them were bleeding like you said though chris. If I see them gill hooked or hooked in a bad place. I will do one of two options I know of. I will cut the line and leave the hook if possible. If not I will just cut the hook as close to the gill or throat.

I will chose college ball any day over pro ball. There is a lot of reasons why I would. Most of them have all ready been listed. I will sit down on a Saturday and turn on ESPN,CBS,ABC,NBC, and Big ten network and watch almost 16 hours of college ball. I might not be watching the games but there on. As for the pros I could care less if I miss a game. I will only watch the packers. I don't think I saw a full game of there's last year. I didn't even watch the super bowl. I was watching reruns of Top gear. I really don't know why all of a sudden the last few years I have stopped watching the NFL. I think a big part of it is the players crying about money. The other part ESPN cramming it down our throats 24/7. I only care about the NFL durning the NFL season. Also I heard today on ESPN that some one is sueing the bcs for a playoff. As far as the bcs vs playoff gos I don't know which one I would like. The only way we could find out is to do a playoff. I have a feeling that people will still cry they didn't get it right. Even if they go to a playoff there will still be teams left out.

I throw top waters any time I can. As long as the water is not frozen I have gotten bites. Usually I get a few blow ups when the water is below 50. But I have a feeling a few might be pike. I have had small mouths go after them in early April. Not sure on the water temp in early April. But It cant munch more then 40 degrees.

To me it don't matter one bit. I guess I never paid attention to the way it went. But Since I am a single guy. It usually sits on the stack of magazines on the counter next to the toilet.

I usually have open between 2-5 tabs at a time. At the tabs I usually have this site, a few sim racing sites, a few racing sites, and maybe facebook. The sim racing sites and real racing sites are loaded with high res pictures. I don't notice any thing. They only time I notice any thing is when I am trying to download more then a few mods for my racing sims. But that could also be me over working my internet. All I know is my buddys hate my 5 tabs open at once. The will jump on my computer to look at some stuff and they get lost. I don't know how I got along with out tabs.

I only use scent when there fresh out of the package. I think fresh baits have a bad plastic smell to them. It don't seem like they smell like plastic after a few uses. So by the time the stuff wears off the bait wont smell like plastic. I don't know if it works or not. I guess its just one of them fisherman things. I cant remember what its called but its in a arsole can with a black label. It also works good for jigs and soft baits. I have jigs that still smell like garlic from 3 years ago from that stuff.

Yea I guess People here in WI don't have munch to do. Most of the fishing seasons are closed in till may. Plus we still have ice on water. Brian you know you are a hard guy to catch. I would stop by and you just left or in a meeting. I didn't have time the last two weeks to stop by. And our deal is still on for this summer. I will try to get you to catch a 5lb smallie.

It seems like a legal play. As long as the ball stayed in the field of play the runners can advance. These kids are just learning the game. So even if it wasn't legal let them have fun . As for fundmentals they will come. Most of these kids are playing baseball for the first time. Just work on the rules and basics with them. If remember right that was why little leauge was started to teach kids the rules, the basics, and to have fun. I

A few years back my and a buddy are burning the bank along some docks. I am not really paying attention to what hes doing. Next thing I know hes freaking out like a little girl. Then I feel the front of the boat make a very fast right turn. I turn around to see him still freaking out like a little girl. I am like what the blank dude. He starts pointing at the dock. I am thinking there is some sort of mammal wanting a free ride. I am like what. Hes like look at that spider. Mind you me with my 20/20 vision didn't see a thing. So he turned the boat a little closer for me. To me it looked like a wolf spider. But it was like 4-6x4. Hes still up front freaking out like a little girl asking me if it was real. I am like from what I can tell it was real. He just looks at me and hes like were out of here. I still do not let that one go. Man I wish I had that on video.

I will agree with bassn on this one. I of course wouldn't even be caught on a plane. Let alone jump out of one. But good for your daughter shes living her life. I think we are all adrenaline junkies in some sort. We all have our fixes in a way. I go auto crossing on the weekends. That takes care of my adrenaline habit for a few weeks.

You will have to give more ideas on what type of solvent. Because some will be fine with plastic and others will melt it. Some will also effect different kinds of metals.

I hit the snooze about two times. All my clocks are like 20 minutes fast. So by the time the second time it gos off I think I am late.

Hey cliff maybe spring will come fast for us WI people. The WI river was wide open. So it looks like around the wausau area we will have no ice by April. I remember last year me and a buddy were on open water by middle of march. No major floating chunks of ice. Just a few small chunks of ice.

No its not the heat. It don't get very hot up here during the summer. I think we only hit the 90s once last year. That is just a big WI large mouth. So maybe he was excited. That or it was his first large mouth. They can be rare in northern parts of the state. I know I can count how many large mouths I have caught on one hand. What I find funny is that the state record lg mouth is 11.3lbs. The small mouth is 9.1LBS.

First off you probably got off because your using what looks like a accord with street tires. That will not tear up the ground no were near what 35in truck tires would. Also some one owns that lot weather you know it or not. It could be the city or a private owner. So I would be careful about destroying land that you have no clue who owns it. Second I see major repair bills and tow bills in your future. Just because you have a truck with 35in tires and a lift don't mean you can go through mud at speed. You cant even go through mud that is 2 inches deep at speed. You have to go slow other wise you will have no traction or break things . If you try to go through mud that is mid tire deep and at 60mph you will break a lot of things. For some reason I have a feeling you won't listen in till you destroy your transfer case, cv joints, drive shaft, and tranny all at once. Thats all I have to say. That is also the reason why I wont mud. The deeper the mud the more it cost you.

I really never did the muding thing as a teenager. I guess I had to drive on dirt roads on a daily basis. After a few miles on them in the rain my car would look like your car. So I guess I had no interest on getting my car dirty for fun. Plus mudding was way to boring for me way to slow. Right now I have a srt-4 and I am not scared to get it dirty. Its just dirt it will wash off. I will go off road if I have to. Just the tires don't don't like the dirt. I do know that for every Minute in the mud equals a hour of cleaning. My buddy's have asked me to help them clean there trucks after mudding. I just say no. There dumb enough to go through the mud they can clean it. How about this. It says you live in VA. Go down south and find some dirt roads and try this. might have a little more fun of dirt roads. I am not telling you to go sliding around turns or taking jumps. You and your buddys will get a road trip. Plus your car will get muddy.

Since I fish from shore a lot it keeps me busy when I am not catching any thing. Like others said it prevents me from talking to my self. I never brought it when I went out with buddy's on there boats. That was in till last winter. I hooked my first muskie while using 12lb test. It was about 45 inches and mid 20lbs. Now every time I fish with my buddy's the ipod comes. To this day I still remember the song when I hooked into it.

I think Nibbles might be right on this one. Watch his fight with Francis Croes 3/3. You will find it on the right of his dancing video. I am no boxer but this guy never has his hands up. To me it seems like his set ups for his upper cuts, and hooks take to long. It leaves him open to take many hits. How this guy makes a living as a boxer I do not know. I have also seen drunk woman fight better then him.

I saw this a few weeks ago in espn. I had a feeling on what was going to happen when the video started. Maybe if he spent more time in the gym instead of the dance studio he might have won.

Sorry J I have never been to a sports car race. I am surprised I haven't. I only live like a hour and a half from Road America. I plan on going to the ALMS race there this fall.

I saw some thing for you guys debating what rounds for home. It was on outdoor network at like 2 am. They shoot the main loads people use for home defense in to a walls built to code. They stacked walls about 10ft apart to see how many walls it would take to stop the round. They used 223, 38, 45, 9mm, 00 buckshot and bird shot. The one that got my attention was the bird shot. Even at the closest distance from the wall only one or two bbs went through the first wall. If I had a wife and kids bird shot will be in the gun. But when I get my own place it will be 00 buckshot.

I think it might be the camera making the car sound more high pitched. To me lambo's have always sounded a little more high pitched then other super cars. I think it is because they use a 6 point some thing litter v-12. I do love the sound though. The sound of super cars is better then a beer after a hard week of work. As for the fans watching so close. You tube rally races and the Baja 1000 videos. The fans are so close they could touch a car as it gos flying by at over 100 mph. That's just not in Europe were that happens.

I heard last night that gsp is running around at 195 right now. They also said gsp has beat every one at 170. So he plans on jumping up to 185. Once he dose that he wont ever fight in the 170 class. So a gsp and Silva could happen. Mind you I heard that all on espn last night. So I have no clue of that's true.

I am not a Gorden fan at all. But it would have been sweet to see. I did see a while back what if they had the new points system from the start. I think Richard Petty still would have won 7. All i know is nascar history would have been a complete 180 then what we know.
