River, I am planning on doing the same. I have nothing but brand new stuff is going into the box. I will take some pictures tonight.

I will get the box into the mail tomorrow. I have to take pictures of my picks and puts after work today. I was a little shocked at the contents of the box. NOTHING like last year. I will post some pictures and comments when I get the pictures done.

My wife is usually great about me buying tackle. She knows I will not be stupid and that I wouldn't spend the money if we couldn't spare it. She has even called BPS or Tackle Warehouse to take care of problems or ask questions. She doesn't really fish, but likes to tag along sometimes. She will let me fish 6 out of 7 days usually. I just have to do what she asks me, when she asks me and then I usually can pretend to be an adult. She actually likes going to BPS cause she can wander the mall and then make me go eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. Now with that said, she just can't wrap her mind around the Megabass Pop Max I bought. She just said I better not lose it. I think she mentioned something about going in after it if need be, lol. But you guys are right. I know in my case my wife knows I am not in the bars, in trouble, "fishing" for women or anything else dumb so she lets me breathe. But make no mistake, she is still in charge.

We got 17" of snow last night. UGH. At least trout opens up in 3 1/2 weeks. This time of year is always hard. Just gonna focus on the NCAA tourney and all that great basketball. GO ORANGE!

4 INCHES WHAT? Cmon. As of 8:45 this morning, we had gotten 17 inches from this storm, lol. But you are right, the warm winds had moved in and the thaw had started. UGH!

I had to go buy trout gear yesterday just to pacify the anticipation, lol. Did get set for trout though, lol.

I know. I was so desperate I tried ice fishing Canadice 2 weeks ago and that just made things worse.

I have several items. Got a brand new Spro BBZ-1 Baby shad that I have never used. H20 Sunfish swimbait that has never been thrown. I have several packages of Rage Tail Shads, Roosters, Eliminators, a new Strike King Sexy Swimmer..... I know there is more, but I am drawing a blank right now. Spring is coming. I can feel it. I am tired of reading about fishing and buying lures I don't need, lol. At least trout season starts in less than 30 days!

The anticipation is killing me.

Should I be on the lookout for a package soon?

Well the ad made me happy. A lot of items that are on sale, I just purchased last week. Now to call and get my refund!

Looks like BPS owes me some money, wohooooooo. A lot of stuff they have on sale I literally just purchased on January 30th and February 9th. I wonder if I can call them and get the refund done over the phone or if I will have to make the drive.

Mine have been ready for several weeks now, lol.

Ok, on to part two of my search, lol. I haven't used buzzbaits a whole lot, can someone guide me in what weights and colors I should be looking at? What is the total length of a Cavitron buzzbait?
