  1. Bought a Tatula SV no problems.
  2. Ark Randall Tharp rods, few new Shimano Zodias rods and a few new St. Croix Legend glass rods I believe.
  3. I love the Fuego CT. Check Amazon and eBay for a great deal.
  4. Fury 704c. Very versatile for most application's except finesse lures.
  5. Fuego CT. Best $67 I've spent in a long time.
  6. Irod Genesis II. The 704 is a very versatile rod that can handle what you are looking for.
  7. Get the 845. The 843 is too soft in my opinion. I had a 845 but couldn't get past the short handle. Great deal at $115 though.
  8. Nothing beats a Tatula rod for $100. Second choice would be a Dobyns Fury. I've owned both and a Duckett Ghost and theres no comparison.
  9. I have the Genesis 2 704c and it makes a great jig rod. Super light at 3.9oz. No reason why the Curado wouldn't match up to any rod.
  10. Anywhere from 3-4 inches is what i use for both of those sizes. You can cut a little off too suite the size of the jig/hook.
  11. Daiwa Tatula 711mhrb or a Okuma TCS 701M+
  12. Irod Genesis II 704. Light, sensitive and with the TW sale it can be had for $111.
  13. Most of the guys in the video are using the new Tatula rods as well. Interested to see if they will replace the old line or fall elsewhere.
  14. Well said. My 7MH Veritas was my frog rod for a few years.
  15. I know from experience that the Veritas line runs heavy. Don't know about the others.
  16. I've seen quit a few pics of the new Tatula Signature rods. There are pics of Omori and Ehrler using them recently on Facebook and Instagram. TW even posted one for an upcoming video they will release but when I asked them they wouldn't give me any info on the rods.
  17. If you can buy online get a new Daiwa Tatula CT for $98 on EBay or check Amazon.
  18. The Tatula XT I have is a spinning rod. The regular Tatulas are casting. That said the XT is just as well built. Plenty sensitive. As for the Regular action models they are more of a mod-fast. My 7'1 mhrb is pretty fast actually, nowhere near a true moderate action. There really isn't anything you cant use the regulars for.
  19. If you want soft the 843 E6X will do the trick. Only thing I didnt care for was the short handle.
  20. I owned the 845 E6X. I used it for squarebills. I definitely wouldn't want the medium as it is too soft and not enough backbone.
  21. Daiwa trio. Tatula, Cronos and Zillion rods.
  22. I bought my Zillion slightly used. Paid $140 for it. To be honest I don't think its worth the money compared to the Tatula rods. I got my Cronos new for about the same and while it feels a little lighter and better in hand im not sure it's worth it either. That's how good I thinkthe original Tatula line is considering you can get them for $100.
  23. Almost all of my rods are Daiwa. I have Tatula, Tatula XT, Cronos and Zillion. The standard Tatula is the best bang for your buck rod out there. Especially being able to get them around $100. They are all light, sensitive and strong.
