  1. I would go with the Revos STX or Revo SX or even the Patriarch. The Curados are also an excellent choice to consider. Later,
  2. These rods look very nice, looked at them at Cabelas the other day. But when I came home and looked them up on line it doesn't give line ratings or lure weight ratings. Is there anywhere that lists them? Later,
  3. Kinami single tail grub in 3 or 4 inch lengths, match color to jig. Later,
  4. I would go with the Soron STX 20 and either the 6' 9" ML or 7' M rod and use 8lbs fluorocarbon. That will be a very nice combo for sure. Later,
  5. The 2010 Premier is by far a superior reel in every category. I have both and have fished both extensively. The Premier just excels at everything much better then the Curado. Casting light baits, smoothness, drag, etc... and the dual braking system on the Premier is just superb. Later,
  6. I bought a Soron STX last year to try out and it performed extremely well. I had no problems with the reel, the retrieve is smooth and the drag is smooth and powerful. It just will come down to personal preference, there are a lot of spinning reels in this price range that are all excellent reels. Later,
  7. Great review. I have been reading a lot on this really and have been considering trying one. Thanks,
  8. Outstanding rod, very light, very sensitive plenty of power and backbone. Later,
  9. I throw different variations of white swim jigs, 2 of my favorite are KVDs Sexy Shad and Blue Shad. I use matching single tail grubs in 3, 4 and 5 inch sizes. Later,
  10. The only thing I do not like about the Extremes is the recoil guides. I really like the Elite series. But both rods are outstanding rods. Later,
  11. Light rain in the spring, fishing a swim jig through grass beds. Later,
  12. I really like my Revos, but when comparing the Revo S vs the Citica I have to give the nod to the Citica hands down. The BPS Pro Qualifier is also an outstanding reel, especially when they are on sale. Also the BPS Johnny Morris Gold Reel is on close out on the BPS website for $129 and is an excellent reel also. Later,
  13. 7' 2" MH/XF Casting, 7.0:1 Swim Sigs 6' 8" M/XF Casting, 7.0:1 Finesse Jigs 6' 8" MH/XF Casting, 7.0:1 Jigs/Creatures 6' 8" M/F Spinning, 5.1:1 Shakey Head 7' 2" MH/XF Spinning, 5.1:1 Soft Plastics Later,
  14. X2, outstanding jerk bait rod!! Later,
  15. I prefer no rattles on my jigs and I would not have a problem buying the rattles extra if I needed them. Later,
