  1. The GATOR GRIP. But along with a better quality bag and concern for the bass, you will encounter a greater financial expenditure to achieve your objectives of releasing a healthier fish. Two part bag. The outside bag is coated to prevent fin punctures and also has a zipper, to secure bag walking the docks. The second part of the bag is the mesh interior bag(removable) Can remove interior bag at aerated weigh in tanks(allows aeration directly to fish, not to fish contained in a plastic bag. Further fish can be weighed in interior mesh bag. Standard weight of bags can be tared out along with the weight of basket. Eliminating the need of the fish to be handled as much as when you dump fish into weigh basket and put same back into bag
  2. well, I bought a four pack, haven't used them yet, but can't wait. If tghey work dont believe other conteatants willl have this bait to throw.
  3. Well, I use the lefthanded reels and like a fool transfer the rod to my left hand to cast(dominant). But I have met a few right handers that have made the change to a lefthanded reel and cast right handed, then retrieve with their left hand. No loss time,no missed hook sets on pick-ups. The proper way to do it could be to have your dominant hand do the casting and your opposite hand do the retrieving. So, you can see even many of the pros have limitations
  4. I" ve got a good eye, but unless there is a distinctive marking, I can't tell the bass apart with exception to size, and it would be shortsighted of me to assume that the 14 incher i previously caught isthe same 14 incher I just caught. So No ,I can't say that I did.
  5. Been awhile, early eighties, use to fish a creek of a big lake ,found an area stacked with fish, at a section where an arm previously branched off the creek and then the arm returned to the creek. The Old BOMBER LONG A would work its magic. Would have a double occur at least once a day. But this was an area that gave up numerous fish. Was preseason and underwater sloping point 3-12ft. Of course it was catch and release as always.
  6. And senko's are selling for 7.99? Time to start buying the brand name products. The professional bassfisherman circuits(sponsporship) have driven the price of tackle through the roof.
  7. Use to be every weekend day (sat & sun) from may to oct, then also from first ice to ice out. Hoping to get out more often now.
  8. ok, i'll bite, whats a shovel head?
  9. Duane, Sorry about the delay. Tried to respond directly but apparently I need to make a certain number of posts before I,m capable to accomplish that feature

  11. I have dealt with this company twice in the past. And will continue to deal with them in the future. In fact a buddy who I informed about the company just dropped $150 on the weights, but I'm sure he saved over $75 - $125 on what he would have paid to other places. Not only do you get a great product at a reasonable price, but the service is first rate. As are the owners of the company and their newer addition. Will be turning on all my fishing buddies on to their website.
  12. For starters, the initially post request was about Seneca Lake in OHIO, NOT NEW York.tHIS LAKE WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A FINGER LAKE. That classification is reserved for a few New York bodies of water
  13. swim jig dirty jigs 5/16 1/2 ounce all terrian a.T.and rock jig 1oz - tightlines and all terrain "grassmaster",vertical lures jig x 1 1/4 tightlines, falcon lures 1 1/2 call all terrain "grassmaster" and falcon lures
  14. Bring alot of tubes and tube heads ,different size heads, Want to kep contact with the bottom. You will also mostly want to drift with the wind.So have two drift bags to adjust the drift speed of the boat. You will get hung up a lot and probably lose some set ups. Or you can drop shot if relatively calm. Might also find some fish in shallow under 15 feet, where suspending stick baits crankbaits and traps will do a number. otherwise deeperwater is the ticket. Biggest head you can fit into a tube or a lead head jig and senko type bait(yum) etc.
  15. Boater, looking for fishing partner . Rochester,NY area.
