  1. Thank you for your service, keep your head down and watch your 6. God bless
  2. I have a 51E its a great reel. I also had aCurado E5 that was fantastic too.
  3. I'm really liking mine, 45lb thrust replaces a 22lb old motorguide. The steering is effortless and very precise. It doesn't drain the battery is quiet and does reasonably well in the salad. No complaints
  4. Its played right down the road from the house about 30 minutes. Flukmaster is even closer that that. All I know is I avoid Augusta this week, my son is on spring break schools are closed. My wife's Co-worker rents his place out this week. He gets enough to pay his mortgage for roughly 6 months his house payment is close to 2 grand so ppl really pay to go see the Masters.
  5. It was because I worked my way up, never forgot all those lessons learned in the field. Another Sr PM, worked his way up too, got the big head and my crews refused to even step foot on his jobs. I literally had to go on the factory floor and ask a crew to stop fabricating some of my stuff and work on his. We fabricated everything in house, shipped to job site where everything was reassembled and installed. Strange thing my jobs never required any repairs, but allot of his stuff was "damaged during shipping". He never learned
  6. Its been so long since I've worked idk what the corporate climate is anymore. However, I was one who always spoke my mind, didn't care about consequences, never lost a job because of it either. I did have a boss tell me once that he didn't understand why the corporate office put up with my bs. I reminded him that I was running three offices, had happy customers and the he was a jerk, oh and had the highest profit margin in the company. Being the best lets you get by with allot. I quit that job, next one I was hired as a project manager trainee, normally took 2 yrs to become a Sr project manager, I did it in six months. No butt kissing involved, I could get the union employees to work on my projects because I treated them well. I would go out in the field and work along side them, at the end of the day I would buy beer and pizza for the crew. I protected the guys from the corporate buttholes, never took credit for their work as a result they worked harder for me. The president if the company had a love/hate relationship with me, she hated the way I treated her but loved that my projects were on time under budget and made her money. Stuff like that lets u get by with allot of political incorrectness
  7. The barbs are there to keep the fish hooked, once you hook yourself you'll see how effective they are!
  8. SC I'm going to say Murray, any lake that requires police presence to direct traffic at the launch is busy.
  9. I currently have four, I really like my energy pt's, I also have a Kinetic and I used to have an Accurist. The best thing about Quantum is they always produce too many its really easy to get them cheap during winter when stores are clearing old stock. I only paid around 80 bucks each, NIB. Reels I've owned are, in no particular order, Shimamo Curado and Chronarch E series (still have the Chronarch), Pro Qualifiers (BPS), Abu Garcia round and lp (EXT Pro and Revo), and Lews Speed Spool MG. The quality of the Energy is as good or better than every reel I listed, the exception being the Chronarch/Curado but its close. I think allot of the bad rap comes from the low end reels that are sold at department stores.
  10. Awesome colors, thanks for sharing. Would love to see a sunrise that intense. BTW, I like it that u know the clouds, not many do. We always had to include the cloud type by names in the ship's log.
  11. Dwight, that pic is crazy, slow shutter speed? Or r u just pointing the camera straight up?
  12. Ethical? Sure its his property, he can do what he wants. However, no bass taken from the lake would ever make the official record book. Just like high fenced deer farm harvest aren't eligible for inclusion in the Boone and Crockett book, don't know about Pope and Young though. IGFA would not allow an artificially raised bass in the books. Although there isn't a specific rule banning fish from a lake as described, but that's mainly due to the fact that this scenario is new, the rules were adopted in 1939. All applications submitted for inclusion are committee approved, I just don't see it happening. Boone and Crockett didn't have a specific rule until ppl tried to have deer included that were raised on "deer farms".
  13. My springer loved going fishing, she also loved jumping out of the boat chasing ducks, geese, buzz baits etc.
  14. What kind of pipes? Old galvanized steel are particularly notorious for build up. How far from the HWT is the shower? Right now I'm thinking the line on the hot side is a different size than the cold, and close to the HWT and main feed, can't regulate because of the pressure drop when even the slightest adjustment its made. Also check the HWT safety pressure valve could be opening on u, especially if old.
  15. Old boatswain mates never smile!
  16. Just got mine in today, looks great more to follow
  17. If y'all ain't figured it out yet, and to put it in the vernacular of Star Wars: Chris is the Yoda of crankbaits, and Raul is Obiwan Kenobe. The rest of us are mere Padawans!.
  18. No that is techno-ese, something most including myself do not speak. I have no idea what he is talking about.
  19. Bill FWIW, over the years I've had 5 spine surgeries. I've got allot of titanium in my spine, that said, back surgery is scary stuff. Your first fusion generally goes well provided on two variables, 1. You don't wait to long to have it. Waiting typically results in nerve damage and damage to adjoining levels. 2. Do your rehab. My first surgery went great, but I waited.to long, weakened adjoining levels that later failed. That and I returned to working construction. By all means get another opinion, but if the discs have ruptured they will not repair themselves. Good luck
  20. The Devil is in the details, the details on that replica are awesome, the best I've seen, fins have that translucence, the mouh/gill area is where most others lack, not on this replica: those are awesome pics. Congrats
  21. Awesome pics, looks great. Can u post a pic showing the mouth/gill detail.
  22. I hear ya brother, current truck 2011 Silverado, previous Chevy Trailblazer, before that Chevy Dually, before that Chevy Suburban, notice a pattern? Last time I had a Ford was 1994 I keep hearing rumors that both Chevy and Ford will be offering diesels in their half ton trucks. Additionally when the Chevy Colorado is reintroduced they're supposedly offering a diesel option. Ford put a diesel in their Rangers back in the 80's
  23. If a comfortable ride is important then Chevy all the way. I liked the old Powetstroke, don't care for the new one. Ford also gets props for not taking any bail out money like GM (government motors) did.
  24. Seems that everything I learn is the hard way.
