  1. I don’t think there is a 70 stunna yet? I would be all over it though.
  2. So I haven’t used it yet but the 13 fishing whipper snapper is small and gets down to that depth, a certain two YouTubers think it’s a great bait too. I’m definitely buying a few as soon as I have the extra money. The pointer 78 is my current favorite small jerkbait. The X nanahan is one that fits the description as well and again I’m very excited to try this one too, small jerkbaits are too much fun.
  3. Sweet thanks! Do you ever use the even smaller sizes?
  4. What sized husky jerk is that? Do you find the smaller husky jerks still have a decent “dart” when you twitch em?
  5. Appreciate the link, there are 1000 yard spools on eBay but I worry about the age of those, especially with line that light. Do you find the 4lb yo zuri to be pretty strong? Have you used a palomar knot with it?
  6. Where do you usually buy from? Found some on eBay but no retailers seem to have the 4lb. I wanna grab some for my bfs, seems like it would be perfect.
  7. Looks like the ultimate pond/bluegill eater color. I would throw the crap out of that.
  8. Thanks I probably do want it!! It says I’m not able to send you a message on here though? If you have Facebook messenger my name is the same on there.
  9. Hopefully we get some cool new colors and the same old perfect action of ultimate jerk Shad. I tried the regular jerk Shad after I found them on clearence right after making this post and was not impressed with the action to say the least.
  10. This is what we wanted to hear, I will check mine soon, thanks for the update! Did they appear to be the same quality/colors? Similar price?
  11. I thought pork was available again?
  12. Are the Nanahan and Rozante 77 roughly the same size? Those are both getting ordered the second I have the extra money.
  13. Do you think I could throw ned rigs and 60-70mm jerkbaits on the major craft 6 ft rod? I think those are the main baits I want to use with me bfs combo along with 3 inch swimbaits. I want to use it for trout and bass, I will get a nice ultra light for the small streams. I’m not afraid to order from Japan if that helps. I really just want something that’s as close to a do everything rod as possible although I realize that’s a tall order.
  14. Great information!! Really appreciate the well thought out reply and it really helped me get a better perspective on the whole thing, can’t wait to make my first cast in a beautiful Utah river.
  15. Great info, thank you! Lastly do you think the X Nanahan would overpower the sierra?
  16. Appreciate the advice, do you think the sierra would be a good choice for 3 inch spark sharks, 2.8 keitechs, pointer 65, rozante 63, small max scent tubes, ned rigs, and other similar baits? If so I’m sure I could use it as both a bass and big river/lake trout fishing. I’ll just get a nice ultra light spinning combo for the stream trout stuff. Don’t actually want to use bfs for musky, not sure why I even mentioned them in the post to tell you the truth, just excited I guess ?
  17. Zoom the fluke, not the super fluke. Cheap and looks incredible, the Shad pattern mini max with a baby bass “the fluke” is a fish catching machine.
  18. ? definitely not going to intentionally make that happen but I kind of hope it does ? just trying to get my gear in order, it seems like a completely different world of fishing compared to Oklahoma.
  19. Moving to Utah in a month and figured it would be a great place to experiment with bfs. I’m planning on fishing streams, rivers, and lakes for bass trout, musky, and whatever else will bite. I’m thinking this real will make a good ned rig, 3 inch swimbait, 65mm jerkbait reel? Is it too heavy duty for stream fishing? I’m looking for a rod $150 or less that will throw those baits for bigger trout in the rivers and bass/trout in the lakes, does this seem like a reasonable use for the reel? Bfs is new to me but the average size fish is going to be smaller out there so it seems like a good choice. Looking for general advice and a few rod recommendations, thanks!
  20. The silent pointer 95 is so underrated, can be twitched or ripped, gets down a little deeper than some standard jerkbaits, and actually has way more of a Shad profile than the 110 style baits and very few people throw it, if h20 brings the ultimate jerkshad back I would also highly recommend it. The kvd 200 is a great shallow diving aggressive jerkbait, haven’t had a ton of success on the 300 but lots of guys catch giants with them. The duo 110 and the berkley stunna are ones that I have recently picked up, haven’t thrown them much yet but they have both caught fish for me and have good action. The pointer 78 is a great small jerkbait too.
  21. Do you find that most of them eat it like that? I bought a nice ark z series 1/4 ounce lipless and discovered that it is deadly on shallow wind blown banks during the fall but man all of the 2lb plus fish had it like that, really hard to get the fish un hooked without injuring it and the hooks on the thing are so sharp by the time one barn is out another one is in. I just had to quit throwing it because I hate killing fish but it was very effective.
  22. Do you gut hook a lot of fish on these? I was fishing a 1/4 trap with sharp hooks and the bigger fish were almost always gut hooked. Quit throwing them because of that.
  23. The little spots won’t stay off my jerkbait unfortunately, I’m sure the big spots like them too but we don’t have many of those where I fish. Actually I know the big spots love them, caught 6 huge spots one after the other one day on table rock fishing a pointer from the bank.
  24. What brand/model have you been using?
  25. So the action on the +1 is decently erratic? Going down the nanahan rabbit hole soon lmao
