  1. I just started using the skip gap hook this past season and they seem to hold soft plastics well.
  2. It's $10.00 for the trout stamp. I don't bother with it either.
  3. I just checked the tracking on mine this morning and its at my post office. I purchased the 6.4:1 ratio. I also bought a pro qualifier that I got on E-bay for 50 bucks. I like the dual braking on these since I am new to baitcasting.
  4. I just found out that some of the top end BPS reels (pro qualifier, Rick Clunn series) are made by Pflueger. That would explain their similarities
  5. X2
  6. Muddy, Thanks for the heads up. RobbyZ sent me a pm. Big rick I added the supreme to my watched items, thanks. That looks like a great deal.
  7. I recently replied to a members post about BPS having their cranking stick on sale and I purchased one tonight. I mentioned that i was looking to pair it up with a pflueger president reel but after looking around their site, I found out that they don't carry it for a south paw. Does anyone have any other suggestions or expierences with the other pflueger B/C reels, and do they offer one left handed? I purchased 4 president series spinning reels this season and I'm very pleased with them so I was looking to stay with the brand.
  8. I purchased 4 pflueger president spinning reels off ebay new for $52 each and I am very pleased with their performance
  9. Syracuse is up alot farther, but my family has a cabin on a lake in sullivan county (near Monticello NY) and I have noticed that pre spawn seems to be alot later in the season. I have gone up at the end of May and it still was snowing. I would say the beginning of June. Hope this helps.
  10. check out iboats.com. I just purchased a fitted cover for my 14' v-hull and it fits like a glove.100% waterproof, no puddling when the straps are tight. great price too.
  11. I picked up 2 tire/galvanized rim combo at Boatersworld for around 80 dollars.($44 apiece) Not sure if you have one near you. I know my store is going out of business so they might be even cheaper.
  12. there are alot of docks at a local lake I fish and would like to see how it is done. Video would be great
  13. The Garmin 300C has 1 plug in the back of it that locks on to the depth finder, then it splits off to transducer and the battery. its very simple to use and has alot of features you would find on the more expensive ones. It works in depth from 1ft to 900ft. It has dual beam transducer, ultra fast scroll, and has alerts you can set for fish size and water depth. one of the features I really liked is that it comes with a bracket you can mount the transducer right on your trolling motor. No need to drill holes in the boat.
  14. Take a look at the Garmin 300c. I purchased it last year and it works very well for shallow lakes. You get alot of great features for the price. Shop around, I found it for $150
