  1. Go to that tackle store online that starts with tackle and ends with warehouse and purchase the following O WACKY TOOL The Brute O-Rings VMC Sureset Circle Hooks And you're all set. You will catch around 5-7 bass per worm using this rig.
  2. I'm wanting to build some artificial cover and take it out and sink it into places on the Lake that I can eventually make into a Secret Honey-hole. Have any of you created Artificial Cover using PVC Pipe? I was thinking of taking a 5 Gallon Bucket, Cement and some long PVC pipe about 1/2inch in diameter. Any help on how to go about doing this would be great.
  3. I caught a Spotted Bass this weekend that went over 3#, I was very happy with that. I only Wacky Style my Senko's and I only fish 5" Watermelon Red Flake. I think I will purchase some Green Pumpkin Black flake in the 6" and Texas Rig them weightless and give that a go. I would love to catch some in the 5+ Range, Just to feel the fight! This is great participation, 3 Pages!!!
  4. Figures everyone is catching bigger bass than me, hehe I tell you, I'm really liking the "dead sticking" technique This past Sunday I pulled 3 bass off one little stick up by just tossing the senko in there and waiting it out. It was like, I don't care if they hit it on the fall or not, they'll grab it. Sure enough about 30 to 45 seconds after my Senko was just sitting there I'd see my Yellow High Vis Braided line twitch and start to move. Freaking LOVE This d**n lure!
  5. SON! Did you see that cast? Peyton Manning throw bro, Peyton Manning throw Then I follow it up with an ESPN tune.... Da Na Na.... Da Na Na
  6. I was thinking last night about how I love Senko Fishing, I mean I am Freaking ADDICTED To the technique Then I started thinking, I don't think I've ever caught a bass over 3# on a Senko I catch plenty of them but none that are like BAM! You know, the 6#ers and over. So it got me thinking, what's your largest Bass on a Senko or Senko type lure like a Dinger or what have you.
  7. 100x better looking than my first Jig. I keep my first Jig handy to look at every now and then just to see how far I've come. I also like to show it to my friends and tell them what freaking LIARS They are! I remember the dang day I tied my first Jig, I showed it to my friends and they were all like "Man, That's a nice looking Jig" I promise you, if you saw this jig laying on the river bank you would pick it up and sling it as far as you could in the river. Freaking LIARS!!! nice looking jig, pffft
  8. Thanks a bunch guys, I figured it was 2 and I do the same as well, if it's a complicated skirt then you are taking some from this skirt, adding more on this and what not. On other news, I made my first two Spinnerbaits last night, it's kind of cool working with an Airgun, really enjoying that part of lure making rather than the boring ole Fluid Bed, hehe.
  9. How many skirt tabs do you use with a Spinnerbait and Buzzbait? I'm thinking two will be sufficient What say you?
  10. Thanks BD - Yea, I don't plan on using a Weedguard, that was my inexperience showing on Chatterbaits.
  11. Well I researched a couple of the questions I had. So, when you pour them you place a weedguard in the mold so it shuts the hole up and then trim it off. I see that you use them just about anywhere or anytime, basically if you were going to cast a Spinnerbait, you can cast a Chatterbait. It seems a lot of people like using them, so, I think I'll start making some of these.
  12. Do you like them? When do you use them? When you build them do you put a weedguard on them? TIA
  13. Thank you Cadman, and thank you to everyone else for your advice, really appreciated!
  14. That is the question... I'm wondering if you were to paint the Spinnerbait blade the same as the Skirt if it would receive less or more bites than just a silver blade? Is painting the blade a "Catch the Fisherman" Technique rather than catch fish technique?
  15. I've been using the small tungsten weights for my mojo rigs since I can't seem to find mojo sinkers in that size. Caught 6 Bass last weekend using them this way, I think I'll give them a try with a C Rig and see if I can feel the bottom better.
  16. I have been using them since the day they got on the market with much success and with zero problems. They are outstanding hooks for Dropshotting
  17. I fixed this issue with using Circle Hooks
  18. Lots of excellent posts here, thank you. I like the idea of marking the ends of the structure so you can visually see what and how you're casting at it.
  19. I'm turning 46 this year and I have decided my goal is this... I will make d**n sure that the Tackle I leave my grandson (When I ever get a grandson) will be 10x better than the tackle I received from my grand dad! That'll keep the Monkey Alive!!!!!!!!!
  20. Sorry, I think I'm done for the next few years on baits. I've reached my limit. Basically this is what's happened. My tackle has reached a point which exceeds my time on the water limit. I don't have 8 hours to put on the water. I have about 4 and those 4 hours are either from day brake till 10 or 11am or from 6 to 9pm. I have found that the lures I've purchsed far exceeds what I'm going to use in any particular trip. So as good as those lures look, It's LC Gunfish, C-Rig Trick Worm, Mumpy's Jig, Drop Shot, Senko kind of day for me. But... I do like the way those look, hehe
  21. Read the entire thread / topic "Senko FAQ" and then go purchase some Senkos and then enjoy catching some bass CLICK HERE P.S. Don't mention Carp on a Bass Forum
  22. Ok, so the Topic is a little misleading, obviously you throw them out of the boat to mark something. My question is this... How do you use them to mark your spot? Do you go over the spot you're going to fish and place it at that spot? Or... Do you mark the spot where you are going to position the boat to cast to THAT spot? Or... <Leave your Comment on how you fish them, here...> Just purchased mine tonight and I can tell you, I thought that the iPilot would eliminate the need for these things, I was wrong. I thought the installation of a 4000 LGC External Antenae connected to my Lowrance would eliminate the need for these... I was wrong I have been finding SOOOOOOO Many places to fish since I got my Lowrance HDS Gen2 Structure Scan package but I'm having a huge problem of staying on the structure. I THINK the Buoys is going to finally put me where I want to be or at least allow me to visually focus on where I WANT to be, hehe.
  23. Have any of you tried the "Limited Edition" Magic colors in the GY? That Watermelon Red Magic looked pretty tempting but I kept the monkey off my back for once and didn't purchase it.
  24. That just ruined any chance you had of becoming a Bass Super Hero, oh well, it was worth a shot...
  25. I think you should let it be, this is how the Amazing Spiderman got his shot and this could be your opportunity to become a Bass Superhero of sorts.
