  1. Here's some random shots I took from the final day of the Classic (apologies for the watermark, but it's necessary). Dink Award Goes To Kevin Wirth Here's footage from me http://www.bassresource.com/Bass/Fishing/Classic-3.wmv And check this out!! http://www.bassresource.com/Bass/Fishing/Charlie.wmv
  2. Read my review here: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/icast_2007.html This was written back in August.
  3. Hi guys, just popped in for a minute before heading to the weigh in. It's 71 degrees and sunny right now. It's like we skipped ahead a month! This could kill Ike's pattern if the lake warms up too much. We'll see..... Talked w/Doug Hannon, Ray Scott, Forrest L. Woods and Randy Hopper today. We're heading off to the weigh in now. Will report back later.

    Go Marcia!

We see her every day (her room is just a few doors down from us). She's disappointed with her showing so far, but is swinging for the fences tomorrow.
  5. Right in front of the red truck.
  6. Here's some random shots I took from today's weigh-in and press conference (apologies for the watermark, but it's necessary). And here's a video clip (be patient, it takes a few mins to load): http://www.bassresource.com/Bass/Fishing/video/bassmaster-classic-day-one.wvx And this (be patient, it takes a few mins to load): http://www.bassresource.com/Bass/Fishing/video/bassmaster-classic-day-one-on-bassresource.wvx How do ya like THEM apples??!!
  7. My wow moment has something to do with a conversation between Ike and I. He approached me with an idea that would involve he and I at a later date on a project he's working on. I don't want to go into details yet, because it's just an idea at the moment, but it would be very cool if it happens. Had another 'wow' moment w/Mark Zona. He came up to us and said, "Hey guys, if there's anything I can do to help you guys, anything, you just let me know." That was totally unsolicited. I'm still stunned.
  8. BTW - we have confirmed there are many pros coming to this site to read the articles and visit the forums. Although they may not be posting, they are here frequently. A few today even made comments about things that were posted this morning!
  9. Thought I would show you a glimpse of the "behind the scenes" at the Bassmaster Classic: KVD Skeet Reese Casey Ashley Timmy Horton donated his hair to the Locks of Love program. Here's the shot just before they started cutting: Here's after: Mark Zona sat at our table: Jeff Kriet Gerald Swindle (that's Gary Klein in the background)
  10. Water temp is @49 throughout, give or take a few degrees depending on location.
  11. Hey that's fantastic! I'll have to listen to it when I have a moment. Thanks for sharing.

  14. That just sent chills up my spine! Good ones! All I can say is WOW!!
  15. Shop around. There's storage places where you can store the boat inside and have power. These aren't "boat/RV" storage places, these are places like Surguard. I did this with 2 different storage places. Your independant storage facilities are usually the best bets. Also there ARE "boat/RV"storage places around that offer covered or indoor storage w/power. There are options. You just have to search around.

    hello to all

    Welcome home!
  21. Who do I think will win? Aaron Martins. That last day is going to be a typical post front blue-bird day. That's when he should shine.
  22. I'm up for a show-n-tell. 'Course, if we get skunked, there won't be much to tell! ------ How many people are coming in Sunday after 5pm? I need to know asap because you can purchase fishing licenses at their store, but it closes at 5pm. However, they will open it in the evening for a short designated period if we all come in at the same time to get licenses. Please let me know asap if this works for you.
  23. What Sam said. You need a Tax ID no matter what, IMO. Ya, you could use your SS#, but it makes life much easier if you have a tax ID. I simply went down to my county's dept. of licensing office to get mine (yes, they do more than just driver's licenses). That was 12 years ago. Now you can do it all online. Note that you'll need a state business license on top of getting a tax ID. Depending on your city, you may also need a city business license too. Bottom line: recommend going to your state's website and doing some reading. http://www.ri.gov/business/index.php?subcategory=17
  24. +1 Congrats to Newman +2 Good job for Newman. Was really hoping Stewart would take it, but, nice to see Newman back in the winner's circle. I have never cared for Kurt Busch. But, I have new respect for the guy. He helped out a teammate and didn't try to make it a three way finish. Busch showed some class and real teamwork that I didn't think he was capable of - very cool. 8-) +1 Also, the COT has made the racing boring, in my opinion. I mean, several times there should have been some major wrecks, but the car straightened itself out. It seem the more cautions there are, the more strategy is involved. Not sure if that's true, but it makes it more interesting to see who pits and who doesn't, and why.... and how it ultimately plays out in the end. Could REALLY do without all the commercial breaks!
  25. Say you have one of the top bass fishing pros sitting right in front of you, all ears and ready to answer your questions, what would you ask?
