  10. Since we're near Halloween, I'm wondering if any of you have had any paranormal experiences. Let us know!
  11. Hey Ike, that's really outstanding! The fact that he's willing to talk to you about personnel issues shows that he recognizes your abilities as a leader. WELL DONE! I looked at the web page you linked to, they spelled vegitation wrong and "walk through" should be "walk-through". And on the front page, "No job is to big or to small" should be "No job is too big or too small" along with a few minor grammar issues. I didn't look any further than that. Why am I telling you this? Because if you can show him ways to improve the company outside of the job he's offering you, you're golden. Look through the rest of the site and copyedit it for grammar and spelling errors. As for wisdom teeth, had all 4 of mine removed at once. I was numbed up and had valium - they didn't knock me out, so I was awake the whole time. But I didn't care! LOL!
  12. Temps have been hovering around 60 in my neck of the woods all month long with mostly sunny skies. That's really bizarre because normally it's around 50 and raining. I'm not bragging. I'm just noting how weird the weather has been in our area too. I mean, c'mon, how often are we warmer than most of the rest of the country? Just checked the weather channel. It's 50 right now here. The only places in the country that are higher than that are the very southern tips of California, Texas, and Florida - the warmest being S. FLA at 58. And TX & FLA are in different time zones. The sun is already up there. WIERD!!
  13. I'm not convinced the Titans are contenders yet. They've had a pretty easy season so far, including last night.

  20. Winter is a very, very busy time of year. Time to fix everything on the boat that needs fixin'. (For me, that means replacing the batteries and tightening down all the bolts, nuts, and screws on the boat.) Cleaning/repairing all the gear. Reorganizing all the tackle. Taking the boat in for it's annual tune up. Doing the "spring cleaning" around the house (since we'll be fishing in the spring). Do all the little projects I've been putting off. And of course, doing a plethora of updates on the site! Note to boat owners: get up under the console and tighten down all the little nuts and screws you find. You'll be amazed at how many have backed off, or are missing. Better to fix it now than have a gauge pop off as you're running down the lake.
  21. $2.85 in my area. Higher than the national average (as usual), but the lowest it's been in a long, long time!
  22. That's a watermelon tube jig, Muddy. Man... looks like what they say about owners looking like their dogs is right!
  23. I know some thermostats work only with 2-stage furnaces (I think that's the terminology). Might want to check to be sure you're paired correctly first.
