  1. Hey have you guys heard about this blue spinning light over the skies of Norway? On Tuesday night, the Norway sky filled with a spiral rotating light that some residents said was as big as the moon. The light stops, then spins into a spiral at a quick pace, and lasted 10-12 minutes before disappearing. No one seems to have the answer as to what it is. Some witnesses thought it was computer generated, some thought it was a fireball meteor, and others thought it was a missile from Russia (the Russian military strongly denies), and some said it could be a Bulava missile from a submarine. Here's a few links about it: Norway Spiral Light
  2. Take them home and charge them. Replace the nuts on the battery posts with wingnuts. Either that, run a really long extension cord from your house to your storage unit.
  3. Hey folks, we have a new fan page! Check it out: http://www.facebook.com/bassresource Become a fan today!
  4. A lot of great ideas and suggestions guys! Appreciate it!
  5. Any particular brands?
  6. We just bought a deep fryer - not a turkey fryer, but one for making fries, fried chicken, fish-n-chips, etc. If you have a lot of experience with these, my question is: what's the best oil to use? Also, do you have any tips (besides making sure your food is dry and thawed, and "don't fry in the nude!"). Thanks for your help!
  7. We had temps in the low teens overnight last night, and due for an even colder night tonight. Although we don't have any snow, the daytime temps don't get much above freezing, if at all.
  8. While I will not discuss business negotiations, I want to clear up one misconception: I offered them a variety of monetary and non-monetary options. This is just business guys. There are no hard feelings or animosities between us. And I hope that we can work together again in the future. I appreciate your support and understanding. Let's move on now to more positive things!
  9. Actually Romo did play a decent game, but the rest of the team forgot to show up.
  10. XLFish: If you mean we won't let you talk about illegal fishing, then you're absolutely right. We don't allow that here.
  11. Definitely agree. It's what I proposed.
  12. As you may have noticed, the Shimano forum is no longer on the site. Shimano and BR had a trial period agreement of 6 months for the forum. After the trial period, both sides would evaluate the results of the forum and future possibilities of a permanent partnership. I kept the forum up for nearly 18 months - free of charge - as a sign of goodwill. Recently, I tried working with Shimano in the hopes for an improved alliance that benefits our members and is mutually beneficial to all involved. Unfortunately Shimano has decided not to partner with us. Therefore I have removed the forum. Dan (Bantam1) has been instrumental in making this section work for our members. Thank you for everything Dan! Maybe someday, Shimano will have a change of heart and we'll work together again. To the members - I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I had sincerely hoped for a different outcome. Glenn
  13. That's a great lookin' boat! Congrats!
  14. Let's see, looking at the past 5 weeks...Tell me Speed, is 1-4 better than 3-2? ;D ;D And considering those 4 losses have been to arguably some of the worst teams in the NFL, I wouldn't be giving any smack talk right now.
  15. Strike King - man I spent a number of years fishing out of the back seat of a Sea Nymph just like yours. It's a very solid boat, but boy, it's like a battery ram in rough water. Oh how I got drenched! LOL! scbassin - what year is your Ranger?
  16. ;D No kidding! ;D
  17. Well, it appears the problem was with other software, and NOT IE, so I don't see the point in changing browsers. It's yet another piece of software on your computer that can conflict with others. Which takes me to those updates....dude, you have a ton of anti-virus/anti-malware programs on your computer. No wonder you're having issues. I suspect you're having performance issues too. I run two anti-malware programs (Spybot search & destroy, and Ad-Aware), plus PC-cillan (Trend). These, coupled with the occasional scan by an online scanner like Panda or Kaspersky is all you really need.
  18. Great game! Loved it! 8-)
  19. I don't watch college football anymore these days. The whole ranking "system", and especially the "national" championship title is so skewed, biased, and unrealistic that it no longer holds any meaning at all. Without a true playoff system, it's all just one big east coast popularity contest anyway. I don't see how a voting system can be anything but. And before you spend the energy to come up with some witty remark about a Washington state team, know that I'm no fan of those teams either. They're bad, period. And no amount of votes will change that. But at least we'd know exactly where they rank if there were a true, honest system. Just my opinion. Like I said, I don't follow it anymore, so what does it matter anyway?
  20. Hey folks, In case you missed the RoadTrip this year, I've finally released the video of the keynote speech during the banquet. Bob Lusk, who is arguably the nation's best lake manager and warmwater biologist, dispels common myths spread around the bass fishing community. Bob answers questions such as: How do bass become trophy size? How long do bass live? Does keeping a big bass harm the fishery? What causes a fish kill? Can 100% catch and release be worse than keeping a few? Can bass spawn more than once per year? These questions and more are answered in this video! Facts and Myths About Bass Enjoy!
  21. I've just posted a new article that explains what it takes to grow huge smallies. Growing Smallies Into Trophies
  22. This page seems to address your issue: http://www.winvistaclub.com/t45.html
  23. I'm curious if there's a website or source of information somewhere that lists all this info that somebody could use to reference. Seems like you have to be "in the know" otherwise, which seems odd to me. You'd think this info would be readily available somewhere, no?
  24. Is that like a restore? or not Yep, system restore. Folks - the question was how to fix the problem, not what browser should I use. Let's keep it on topic please.
  25. Revert back to a good version of Windows before the problem began. Easiest thing to do.
