Yep. The "60 degree" mark is an average. I see you're from the same area I am, so you know the last week or so has been really cold for this time of year. We had such a mild winter, I was expecting a dry, warm spring. But nooooOOO! ;D Yes, Columbia gear is a little more pricey than cheaper stuff, but the quality is there and they last forever. The shirts are what I get. They're very comfortable and keep you cool and free of sunburns. Just hope I get to use mine sometime. :

Man I wish I had your problem. I seriously do. We've had an unseasonable cold and wet spring. One front after another with constant rain and temps hovering around 60. It's been that way for months. :-/ But - when it does get hot, I go with Columbia sportswear.

Wish it were an interesting story, Burley, but the fact-of-the-matter is, we just launched the boat and started the engine. It was running really rough and wouldn't get up on plane. Turns out we dropped 2 cylinders. It's past warranty, so the bill goes to us. Oh joy. :-/

A couple things about getting the most performance out of KVD Line & Lure: Shake the bottle well before using, and while using it (if spraying multiple reels at the same time) If you're applying it the first time, do it at least 24 hours before you go fishing. It needs to soak in and do it's "magic" first. After that, you can apply a "touch up" spray while fishing without waiting for it to dry. Hope that helps!

Ok folks, just because somebody doesn't like them doesn't mean the world is coming to an end. I personally cannot catch a fish on a swimbait for the life of me, but that doesn't mean they're bad. It just means they're not my cup of tea. No big deal, right? So let's keep that concept in mind.

Do put "Please Release Me" directly on the wound as well as in the livewell. Then place the fish in the livewell with some ice and allow him some time to rest up before releasing him. I strongly agree with J Francho on this one. Once you've drawn a weapon, you're in a kill or be killed situation. Period. There's no "winging" somebody, or "scaring them off" with a "warning shot" kind of thing. It never happens that way. Ever. Somebody will die, with other saying, "I didn't mean to hurt anybody." Period.

Unfortunately, I think that's what's going to happen. These bandits aren't too bright. They're dealing with Texans. Armed Texans. In fast boats. You get about 5 armed bass anglers within earshot (and sight) of each other, and then one slow boat full of thugs tries to mug one of them. The outcome is self-evident. Something bad is going to happen.

So basically I'm a dip. ;D

Boy, that could be anything really. Just add confusion, it could be an emission device that's vacuum controlled. It's possible that it's a valve that's supposed be closed during warmup, but open once operating temp is reached. If the valve is stuck open (e.g. vacuum leak), it can cause rough idling or stalling until the engine warms up. I had that happen once too many on one of my older cars until I ripped out all the vacuum controlled devices I could find, and replaced them either electronic or mechanical devices. Problem solved.
