  1. Washington State has a similar RCW but takes it a step further. They have a second RCW that allows you to sue a person for damages if they're convicted of the first RCW. Most people aren't aware of these RCW's - not even the sportsmen. So I carry around copies of them to hand out to perps. They don't like it, but then again, by the time I have to hand it to them, I don't care whether or not they like it.
  2. Let's see if I can answer a few of those questions. In all honesty, I'm a newbie at interviewing people, so I have to write down and rehearse my questions beforehand. So yes, it is somewhat scripted only because I can only remember about 10 questions to ask! LOL!! So if there's one thing I'd like to change, it'd be to get better at this so it flows more naturally. If somebody strays off topic, I like to go with it and see where it goes. So far it's worked out pretty well. I think this particular interview helped me immensely because I was forced to take a completely different approach, and it seemed to work. I'll remember that for next time. The first time I did this, I had the "wow!" factor to grapple with. It was a bit overwhelming to see all the folks you see on TV there at the same time. I was extremely nervous because I didn't want to screw up. But now I've done it enough times that I'm more focused on getting a good interview (still working on that one!). What would be "the best" interview? I'm not sure what you mean, but in the context in which the question was asked, I think you mean which one was the most exciting. That would have to be Bill Dance. I was probably THE most nervous I'd ever been not only because he's such a huge icon, but because I was completely unprepared. It went from "Hello Mr. Dance" to "Let's do a quick interview" within minutes. I'm just thankful he's so comfortable in front of the camera because while he was talking, I kept thinking to myself "I'm interviewing Bill Dance!!" I'm such a schmuck! ;D As for who I'd like to fish with? Boy that's a tough one. I've already been out on the water with Iaconelli a few times and with Swindle once. So I've already been blessed to have had the chance to do something most can only dream about. But I'd still jump at the chance to fish with Bill Dance, Ray Scott, Larry Nixon, Hank Parker, or Jimmy Houston. But even more so, I'd like to fish with many of the great members here! I think I'd learn a lot!
  3. LMAO!
  4. Thanks guys. That was arguably the most difficult interview I've done. When Keri brought him over to me, the first thing I thought was "uh oh, language barrier!", but it worked out just fine. He gave great answers and made me look like a good interviewer.
  5. It really depends on where you live. In my neck of the woods, a 5-pounder is a pretty big dang deal! Here's a 5-10 (mine) and a6-13 (Keri's) caught on the same weekend. Something that I've never experienced around here in my 40+ years of fishing: Conversely, Keri and I caught a 7 1/2, 8.1, and 9.1 pound bass on the same day on Lake Fork, Texas a few years ago! Location is everything.

  11. Thanks man! Appreciate it!
  12. Welcome home!
  13. I like both, but not listening to music with headphones on. We were rocking out to Van Halen once and a 4-pounder came out from under a dock and swam up underneath the boat. ;D
  14. Good! Good!! GOOD!!!
  15. We really only have 4 rules about avatars here: 1. They can't be percieved as advertising (Any logo that isn't a sport team, for example). 2. They can't be lewd. I realize this one can be subjective in nature, so we try to interpret intent on the gray area ones, and make a ruling based on that. 3. They can't depict, portray, or encourage illegal acts. Again, intent applies here as well. 4. No political or religious images at all, regardless of positive, negative, funny or otherwise. There's no gray area here. A 5th unwritten rule is, "They can't look like Burley", but unfortunately half the population of Alabama looks like him, so it's hard to enforce. ;D
  16. It doesn't work for any fish at all. I don't use the stuff at all. Fish hate it. :
  17. The problem seems to have cured itself, which lends me to believe a router was going bad at the host provider and they fixed it.
  18. Yep, ok I recognize the songs. I didn't place the name with them, but NOW I know who you're talking about! Great artist.
  19. I for one am definitely NOT a soccer fan, which is why I haven't even clicked on this thread until now. And why I've stayed out of it. I suggest others who have no interest in this topic steer clear of it as well.
  20. I don't think I know who that is. I'm a Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley fan myself.
  21. You look great Chris! You've inspired me as I'm sure others too!
  22. Note you will need to do the above WHEN you are experiencing the slowness! That's critical. Thanks!
  23. Awesome news!
  24. The site is moving really fast for me. About 7 months ago we had an issue where some people were experiencing slowness when others weren't. It turned out to be a bad router at the host provider's end. So folks, just like the last time, help me figure out what's going on. If you're experiencing slowness, please do the following: 1. Go to http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip 2. Choose to Open the file when prompted. (The Zip utility on your computer should open the zip file and show the contents.) 3. Extract the file contents to a folder on your computer. To perform a traceroute using WinMTR: 1. Locate the file where you extracted the zip file. 2. Click the "WinMTR.exe" file. (The WinMTR window opens.) 3. Enter bassresource.com in the Host field. 4. Click "Start". WinMTR begins sending packets to the IP address. 5. When the "Sent" number reaches 50 click "Stop". 6. Finally, copy from the clipboard and send a paste of this report to me via PM. Thanks!!
  25. An exclusive interview with Skeet Reese. Find out about his big bass techniques, who his inspiration is, what he likes to do off the water, and more! An HD Video. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/skeet-reese.html
