Look at the source. I have to agree it's highly biased and written for shock value. Probably not much "fact" in it at all.
Besides, this topic is nothing new. The hippies were saying this and a whole lot more in the '60's.
Much ado about nothing.
Moving on....
We don't have tornado sirens in my area (but we do get them on rare occasions). However, we do have tsunami and lahar sirens. If you hear those, you're dead if you don't take immediate action.
Right now there's a funnel cloud over Memphis along with a tornado warning....right where RoadWarrior is. I called him but no answer. So I presume he's tucked away in a cellar somewhere....I hope.

Warning! It's a tear jerker!
Yes, the straps were for the radar unit.
The "blank" wraps were simply because they didn't have them wrapped yet. Most of these guys get their truck/boat less than a week before the Classic. So it's a mad dash to get everything finished. Some folks just run out of time.

We FINALLY broke the 70-degree mark in my neck of the woods....it's be 197 days since we last saw temps in the 70's - 3 days short of the all-time record.
I've been in close contact with Don on this, and we're working on the logistics. Trust me - this WILL happen. Just hang on until things are locked in.
Thanks!
Glenn
