  2. Check out this interview where Aaron speaks about the "help" other pro anglers receive on the Elite series. Pretty interesting... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/aaron-martins
  3. Obviously the woman thought it was stolen and didn't care. She got what she deserved. If more people sold fake goods like that, maybe it would cut down on the demand for stolen goods.
  4. Check out the information in these articles: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/float_tube.html http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/float_tubes.html

  8. It's fixed, although we are still monitoring it just to be sure.
  9. That, my friends, is Elaine Glover Borskey - LBAA and WBT pro!
  10. Yes, I'm aware the site is running very slow. I am working on fixing it, but it will take some time. I have no ETA right now. I will post more as I know more. Thanks for your patience!
  11. Yup, I have two. Great reels, albeit a bit heavy.
  12. Pam Martin Wells won on the "pro" side, which Deb placed 23rd out of 25 "pros". Sarah Davis won on the "co-angler" side, which Keri placed 16th out of 25 "co-anglers". Fishing was extremely tough - the dog days of summer. Lots of small fish, very few keepers - and a ton of very skinny fish...a 14" fish didn't even weigh a pound! It was 100 degrees yesterday, 92 today. One lady fished while passing kidney stones - literally laying down on the front of the deck while operating the trolling motor with her hands all day so her co-angler could still fish. The reason? "My co-angler paid $300 to fish in this tournament. I am NOT letting her down!" If anybody claims these women aren't as tough as the men, they're on crack! Final standings and story is here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/lbaa-old-hickory-final.html More pics to follow!

  14. Well... this is BassRESOURCE after all. So yes, we have an article on that too! Here's step-by-step, detailed instructions: http://www.bassresource.com/fish_biology/mapping-a-lake.html Enjoy!
  15. Been through several 5+ earthquakes now, the worst being a 6.8. This one will just provide good stories for folks who experienced it for years to come. Unnerving if you've never been in one, but amounts to nothing more than having somebody jump out the dark shadows and yelling "Boo!".
  16. If you do get line twist, here's how to fix it: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/line-twist.html

  18. Don't worry about the short-term swings. They're meaningless in the grand scheme of things. All they are is simply headline fodder.
