  1. I've used both, and prefer artificial baits. But if you enjoy live bait fishing, knock yourself out!

  9. Wow, that's a shock! He was a major influence on the NFL. He will be missed. That said, it's sad to say, but it's probably the best thing that's happened to the Raiders in a very long time.
  10. MAJOR LEAGUE FISHING today announced professional bass fishing angler Marty Stone as the on-air analyst for the organization’s competitive events, which will be televised on Outdoor Channel. View the full article
  11. That depends on what I'm fishing. The more weeds and wood around, the more likely I will use a Texas rig; conversely the less things there are to snag, the more I'm apt to use an open-hook jig.
  12. It's GREAT to have you back!
  13. 80+ elite anglers signed a large, framed map of West Point Lake and gave it up for auction. All proceeds go to Tackle The Storm foundation - dedicated to helping the children of natural disasters. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270828068119

  18. Yes, you read that right! Just check out the homepage. I can't tell you how pleased I am that the one and only Hank Parker has decided to work with us. I keep pinching myself, but still don't believe it. More details can be found here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/bass-fishing-hank-parker-11.html
  19. Bills. They're doing quite well as are the 49'rs. Love how the Lions are doing, and the "favorites" are tanking! 49'rs beat the "dream team" Eagles last weekend, Cardinals barely lost to the Giants due to a bad call late in the game, and the Seahawks almost pulled one off over the Falcons in the final seconds of the game. All very competitive games against very good teams. And the NFC West is supposedly the worst division? Weren't games against the NFC all supposed to be cake-walks and blow-outs for the other teams? Seems the pundits got it all wrong this year*. LOL! Well...ok....the Rams are still old NFC West.
  20. Actually most fish were caught in less than 10' of water on that trip. They were feeding like it was mid-July! Had a March tournament 2 years ago where it was 29 degrees at blast off. With ice forming on the eyes, we proceeded to catch and cull a limit of largemouth bass on spinnerbaits in less than 8 feet of water. The water temp was 47. We landed in the money when the rest of the field was fishing deep for smallies. In fact, we were the only team to weigh in largemouths. And several years ago, my buddy was catching bass on buzzbaits on New Year's day in 42 degree water. Never assume anything. Fatal mistake.
