  14. What Raider Nation said. Now...back on topic please....
  15. Yes. A friend of mine (years ago) had solar panels that heated their pool AND hot tub, no problemo...in rainy, cloudy Washington state, mind you.
  16. Well, it's important to let us know what type of cover/depth/current you'll be fishing first. You can rig both of those baits in a variety of ways, but cover/depth/current really dictate which one to use....and to a certain degree, water clarity. The primary things I consider before rigging are: is the area rocky? If so, that rules out bullet weights and darter heads...unless you enjoy getting hung up on every cast. Football heads are a good choice here. Is the area weedy? That rules out open hooks...unless it's sparse weeds. Then a jighead with a wireguard will work. Is it clear water? If so, then a splitshot (mojo) or drop shot rig would be an option. Less than 10 feet? That really dictates how a tube should be rigged - most importantly, what kind of jighead to use. You want a spiral action in less than 10' (my preference, yours may differ.) to get a reaction strike. In water deeper than 10', I want to drag and hop it off the bottom. Are the areas mixed rock/weed/depths? That really adds some fun to the mix! Is there current? Generally that means heavier weights; the stronger the current, the heavier the weight. So...tell us about the cover/depth/current and water clarity, and we'll help you hone in on some options!
  17. I'm lovin' me some Seibert Jigs! Keri and I have, oh, 2 or 3 dozen now. No joke!
  18. From what I've read about this, it's much ado about nothing, really. Very, very few stations carry the fuel, and most won't. It's too expensive to add new pumps for a fuel relatively few vehicles can or will use (you can't use current pumps, you need new ones specifically for E15). In addition, there's no demand for it. And, as mentioned above, the drought has really impacted the production of ethanol, making it a less appealing option. And finally, there's a push by lawmakers to suspend or lower mandates on how much ethanol the country must use this year and next. Between now and then, I suspect a number of industries will sue to have the ruling overturned. So...nothing to get your blood pressure up for now. We're still years away, possibly forever, before we'll see this at the pumps.
  19. Our very own Gary Kilmartin (Ghoti) wrote a very extensive and informative article on amping up your reels. He even took a bunch of pics to go with it. Very well done! http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/supertune-baitcaster.html

  23. Well, no. There's no product on the market that "removes" ethanol. Not sure what product you're thinking about, but I assure you it doesn't "remove" ethanol. Star Tron is the real deal folks. It eliminates problems caused by ethanol plus it stabilizes the fuel for up to 2 years.
  24. Welcome home!
