  10. Thanks Speed!
  11. 8 sacks and stout defense WON the game. It's the same stout defense that totally OWNED the Cowboys in last week's 27-7 pounding. They completely shut out Greenbay in the first half. Nobody has done that in years. The impressive final drive of the game was practically end-zone-to-end zone in less than 2 mins - orchestrated by a rookie quarterback no less. Sad that everyone loses those facts due to a controversial call. The game had many, of which both teams "benefited". The 'Hawks beat the Packers, DESPITE the bad calls.

  13. Nice one! Been fishing the tri-cities area for the past 5 weeks. This weekend, they finally moved up shallow. It should be getting good for you. Go up the hill to Ranch-n-Home and grab yourself a bag of Old Ugly tubes, and have fun!
  14. A huge shout out to Charles Park, Greg Imlay and everyone at Pinnacle Fishing who just donated 50...FIFTY rod and reel combos to Tackle The Storm Foundation...thank you so much guys...50 kids will be put back on the water because of you. Thank you!

  16. Never saw a bigfoot. But I stayed at a Holiday Inn once.
  17. I've worn our tournament shirts in 90+ degree days, all day long, without so much as getting a tan underneath.
  18. I actually find them more comfortable than t-shirts because they don't bind or cling to you. They're nice and roomy, plus they don't wrinkle. Just wash-n-wear.
  19. I remember the days following that day, when all planes were grounded...except the F-15's standing guard over the city. Very, very surreal situation.

  21. My alarm clock went off, and I heard the announcer say, "I appears a plane may have struck one of the twin towers in NYC. We're not sure yet what kind of plane, but I image it is a small plane such as a Cessna. You will probably hear more about this later this morning as more information becomes available." Understatement of the century.
  22. I always sharpen hooks, maybe not right out of the package (I ALWAYS check them though, even brand new!), but eventually all hooks become dull. At that point, it doesn't matter how sharp they once were, or how they were sharpened at the factory. That hook point is long gone, so it doesn't matter anymore. You can't "ruin" the factory point once it's dull, so sharpen away! Yes, I sharpen even Trokar and Owner hooks once they get dull. I can always get them razor sharp again. I'm totally mystified why people won't sharpen a dull hook because "it will ruin it". To that, I say, "How's that dull hook working for ya?" Sharpen it!
