  1. Berkley 7" power worm.
  2. I'm sure you can catch fish year around but there was an article in the recent Bassmaster and most seemed to agree when the water hits 39-40 deg it gets a lot tougher.
  3. Yamamoto, Zoom, and now I'm starting to really like Netbait especially when you consider their prices.
  4. Gamakatsu EWG from 3/0 to 5/0.
  5. Has anyone even caught a double digit smallie lately? I've heard of 7lbers being caught in the great lakes and 8lb+ in California but finding a smallie in double digits is very difficult.
  6. Agreed. I don't like using tungsten weight with sleeves. I feel that it isn't the same as the Trutungsten ones which are sleeveless. I'm still looking for sleeveless alternatives but I haven't found one yet.
  7. Thanks, I will give it a shot.
  8. Wouldn't the fish be under the thermocline? When deep cranking isn't it best to still hit the bottom? Sorry, I have never really deep cranked before and would like to learn.

Do you use a weighted hook when you fish them wacky?
  10. Well at least now you now that there are 8lbers in there
  11. Have you seen this? http://www.thedailycrank.com/2009/10/bull-dog-video/
  12. I'm looking for a pair of waterproof boots I can use in the snow and in the cold weather while fishing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
  13. I tried this but I don't believe it works from shore since I wasn't able to get my crankbaits back. It probably works from a boat.
  14. There's no way I would pay $8 for a bag of senkos, that's ridiculous.
  15. I throw anything dark with success.
  16. I'll throw almost anything but my favorites are Pepper Jigs.
  17. I've never had any issues with Gama hooks. I'm sure Owner's are better but they cost more and since I've never had issues with Gama which happen to be readily available by my why switch?
  18. I like a 7' medium rod for smallmouth.
  19. I use these for winter Model# 821BK: http://www.glacieroutdoor.com/products_fishing.php http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_102807____SearchResults And I got something like this for fall but a different brand. So far I've been happy with it. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_84938____SearchResults
  20. I don't know if they will work for bass but the quality of work is excellent.
  21. Are there any crankbaits that run just a few inches deeper than the baby1? I want to find a crankbait in between the minus-1 and the lucky craft 1.5
  22. I've always used 4/0 EWG gamakatsu hook. I think having an extra wide gap hook is important for weightless flukes.
  23. Netbait plastics are underrated. Everyone knows about the craws but the other stuff is good too.
