  1. You guys are funny. I would not put lipstick on a Bass. Maybe a carp I would.
  2. HAHA! got you didn't I. Ok seriously I have recently caught 2 largemouth that looked like they had on red lipstick. Has anyone seen this before?
  3. Hi guys I have a Minn Kota 35 its a 17lb thrust motor. Would anyone have any idea how many amps this will draw at full power? Thanks
  4. Sorry to sound gloomy but your boat is probably on its way to china right now. The way things are now it probably went straight to the scrap yard. I would be very surprised if they stole it to use it.
  5. Anyone have any ideas? I have a 14' jon boat and I am looking for a way to secure my poles during transport and fishing. Any thoughts or pics would be helpful.
  6. Zink you are correct. I hadn't thought about that. Hmmm Now if I were to fill it with helium... Nevermind it wouldn't last long HAHA
  7. Anyone ever used this for extra flotation on a decked jon boat? We used it at work to fill some 3' X 20' floats and it worked. The space I would like to fill is approx. 4-5 sq. ft. Do you think its worth the trouble? I know it would be a mess to have to remove but I would rather float a little better when alone on the front of the boat.
  8. I like them only had 1 hit so far while picking out a backlash of course! They smell forever. I've had one on my boat for a week and a half now and it still smells like a new one! Hey boone I tried it. I used some cheapy plastics from walmart. It didn't work very well. I tried marinating them in very strong hot coffee and then put them in a bag with fresh coffee. 1 time in the water and they smell like cheap plastics again.
  9. How do you guys store em? I bought a Plano storage box but have no room for it anywhere and would prefer to not leave it under foot. Thanks in advance.
  10. No this is on the southern end of columbus. Thanks for the replies fellas I will try them all!
  11. I will definately try that. Thanks great site here!
  12. Anyone ever fish a quarry with practically no banks? The water is about 60' in the deepest part The banks just about go straight down. There is however walleye, smallmouth and of coarse crappies bluegills and who knows what else. Seems like after the spawn is over you can't hardly find em! Sooo what would you try. I have used plastics, crankbaits( haven't tried a deep one) rattletraps and surface baits. I catch one every now and then but not enough to figure them out. Also normal days you can see probably 15'. Any thoughts?
  13. Hi guys I have a 12' v bottom and would like to get a 1436 jon boat. Is this worth the trouble? I just need some more space. I am mainly a weekend warrior but I can fish anytime at the gravel quarry I work at. I know obviously bigger is better but would you do it?
