  1. I am trying to find a guide around Boston. Im going to be up there at the end of the month and I've never caught a smallie im from FL. Any help with a good guide would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. I have 6 loomis rods and love them. I have been looking for a swimbait rod for a while and I'm debating between the SWBR953 or 955. I was wondering if any of you guys have used either of these rods. I don't throw a lot of swimbaits over 2 oz's most of the time. I was leaning towards the 953 but was wondering how the 955 handles lighter swimbaits. I am more of a fan of a moderate-heavy rod than moderate-light. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I was out there a couple of days ago. I saw some beds but no fish around them. Caught some nice fish at the mouth of shingle creek. Biggest there was 3 lbs. Also caught one nice fish and some small fish in goblet's cove. Caught most my fish on RC 2.5's and junebug senko's.
  4. I've been looking to purchase one of these rods. Which one would be better suited for my needs? I fish mainly shallower cranks 10 ft of water or less and lipless cranks in hydrilla. I usually throw a lot of RC 1.5's or 1/2 oz lipless cranks. I have been leaning towards the 843 any help?
  5. I had a yahoo run up on my boat today. It took about an 8'' piece of fiberglass off of it not real big. Would I need a fiberglass repair kit as well as a gel coat repair kit? Or can I just use a gel coat repair kit with a hardener? I was looking online and Evercoat makes a gelcoat repair kit that comes with a hardener and it's white which is the color I would need. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. any kind of 4 or 5 inch swimbait. No particular brand. I am just talking soft swimbaits in general.
  7. Do you fish it with a weighted hook or fish it texas rigged. I have normally been fishing with a weighted swimbait hook. The other day I was fishing with a buddy and he texas rigs his swimbaits. We both caught some nice fish but the action he got t-rigging it was unreal.
  8. I won a tourney out there last month with 5 fish 26lbs. I fished the mouth of shingle creek the bite was slow but caught a 4- pounder on a crankbait. I then moved up into shingle creek and was flipping senko's into current and caught about 8 fish keeping 4 best was 9+. I then ended my day in friar's cove fishing crankbait's and culled a couple of fish. I also have heard the bite early in Goblet's cove has been pretty good.
  9. that whole lake is a hot spot. Look for deeper hydrilla and run crankbaits. It worked for me a couple of weeks ago out there.
  10. thanks dollars I appreciate it.
  11. Does the lake insight feature show lake contours or would you also have to purchase the navionics chip for the lake contours?
  12. I picked up a pack of these and noticed the craw legs and the crazy legs are linked together. Do you fish it the way the bait comes in the package or cut the legs free from each other.
  13. 1. White 2. White 3. White/Chart

  15. Has anyone fished with these crankbaits yet? I was wondering if anyone had any feedback about these lures?
