  1. Thanks for the advice, I'm kinda short 5'-7" to be exact. So I guess I should stick with a 7'-0" rod since it seems like anything longer my be a little harder for me to use. Is there any short people out there that use the longer rods without any trouble?
  2. Need some advice on a rod for flippin and pitching. What would be a good size to learn with and what brand would be the best to buy. Does having a longer rod make it easier to flip and pitch?
  3. Is the hook size determined by the weight of the head or can you choose different size hooks with the same weighted head. If so what size hook to you recommened for 4" finesse worm

  6. I couldn't find the Fat IKA so I bought a pack of Kinami Palm Tree's, they look very close to the IKA's. They must work the same cause I just came inside from fishing with my 6 year old son, and we caught 9 fish(I set the hook and he did all the reeling) on just one bait. So i wanted to say thanks for all the great information, I rigged it just like everyone said" skirt up",my son took that torn up bait and told his mom that it was magic and went to hide it in his room. Thanks again guys.

  21. Kinda new to bass fishing and I'm looking for some help on picking out what size and action rod's I should buy. I have a new Quantum Tour TE1170 Burner bait caster and a Quantum Tour TE30PTiAS spinning reel. I plan on useing the spinning reel for lighter baits and soft plastics and the bait caster for most everything else.
