When i was four years old my dad took me down to the river behind our house fishing for the first time ever. In about the spand of 45 minutes i caught more smallmouth bass than i can remember. Ever since then during summer i spend more time down by the river than I do at my house.
My number one technique would have to be to run the shore lines and work a spinner bait in and around structure (trees that have fallin into the water, docks, etc.)
rapids are also a gold mine for fish. fish above and below them and you will get fish, also if there are little pools of calm water in the rapids fish them to they are great for holding bass.
In a couple weeks my family is going to green lake for a couple of days to fish. Ive never been to this lake before in my life. I would appreciate any tips for finding fish on this lake. Like what to use and where to go on the lake. Give me all the advice you got. Thanks alot guys.
