  1. That's funny. A buddy of mine and I were talking about her and that song, for some reason it get's stuck in your head. I would rate her as annoying but she must be doing something right.
  2. I actually liked it better than the first one. Did you stick around after the credits? I won't spoil but if anyone does go, wait 'til the credits roll.
  3. I always thought the trout stamp was only if you planned on keeping them. So you have to have one even if you are not fishing specifically for trout and accidently catch one and throw it back?
  4. Forgot to mention this, the IPT is actually 26" according to the manual, not 29" as stated in their catalog. Just thought I'd throw that in.
  5. I've got one I bought as a combo with the Carbonlite rod. I've only used it 4 or 5 times but so far I really like it.
  6. Kudos to the guy. Imagine how big those bass were be if those ponds were stocked with rainbow trout.
  7. Can't go wrong with a Citica, but here's another thought. I just bought one of Bass Pro's Carbonlite combos and it's sweet. Light as a feather and the reel casts about as good as any reel I've got. I can't speak for durability as I've only used it 4 times but just thought I'd mention it as another option.
  8. Nice fish and great slide show!
  9. I do it when watching TV or movies. I'll think "I bet there's one there" or "I'd throw a spinnerbait there".
  10. Where I fish there are a lot of muskies. I've had the same thing happen a few times, feel a hit and reel back nothing but line.
  11. Prayers sent for you and your family.
  12. Citica gets my vote.
  13. Duo-Lock type snaps yes, snaps with swivels, no.
  14. Right now, Bandit 100, perch. As the water where I've been fishing clears up that'll change, though.
  15. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  16. Around vegetation or cover it's usually tip up until I get them over/past/out of it then usually tip down as I get them closer to the boat. Each one varies though.
  17. When you say you have 2 brakes set, you mean 2 of the centrifugal brakes, right? What have you got the mag brake set at? Also, you may want to put a drop of oil on a Q-tip and put a light coat of oil on the brake drum the centrifugal brakes make contact with. Hang in there, you'll get it!
  18. At $70 that's a good deal! I have one, it's a good reel. I know one site reviewed them and said the palming side bulged a little much where the ACS control was but I haven't found this to be an issue.
  19. I picked mine because I couldn't think of anything else that wasn't already taken. Crankenstein is what a buddy of mine calls crankbaits. When we're fishing if one of is using a crankbait we'll say "throwin' the ol' crankenstein" or "caught him on the crankentein". Ironically, I'm only a fair-to decent crankbait fisherman.
  20. That's the first time I've heard of that happening with a Vendetta. Try googling "Cumara broken tip" or "Crucial broken tip" both provide a wealth of reading material! My post on fighting was meant to be a joke, should have put some smileys after it. But anyway, what does a Cumara and Crucial broken tips have to do with anything? I don't recall anyone mentioning or asking about Shimano. Someone mentioned coming here seeking information about rods. I was simply pointing out it was the first time I'd heard about a broken tip on Vendetta but I had read about quite a few incidents with the Cumara and Crucial tips breaking. This "you dare not question Shimano" mentality causes more problems than any other on any forum. Don't think it's true? There's a PowerPro thread regarding roughness where guys are actually questioning how the guy set up his rod. That cracks me up. So, I ask a question about a Vengeance rod, nothing else, not a Vengeance vs. Crucial or Cumura, you bring up these other rods and then complain about people defending Shimano? No one mentioned Shimano until you did. Relax and go fishin'

  22. When I found out I won, I didn't really know what I'd won until I went back and read the contest rules. I just got the last of it on Thursday, so I wanted to post the pics as a way of saying thank you to everyone.
