  1. I have envisioned owning the Glorious and the Ultima and an Aldebaran except that my Conquest 50 would be on the Ultima and the Aldebaran on the Glorious. Either way, your setups look great and I am envious!
  2. You need a handle nut and a handle nut retainer. I would also buy the retainer screw. What handle did you buy? A Core 50MG7 nut and retainer would look great on your Citica. The number are BNT4037, BNT4038 and BNT4085. https://fishshop.shimano.com/vip/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441848573
  3. You are close to BFS territory with your lure weight. I weighed a Trick Worm and it came out a little heavier but not by much.....6.13 Grams. I just spooled up a Conquest 100 with 10# Big Game and mounted the reel on a Loomis MBR843 IMX and the hook was a 5/0 Gammy EWG. My best casts was with 4 brakes on and a loose cast control knob. I get no enjoyment out of casting a lure as light as a Trick Worm without the right setup. It's too much of a pita IMHO. Needless to say, even though I was using a reel with a lighter spool and lighter line than your CT100/15# Big Game and I would imagine the MBR843 IMX has a softer tip than your Crucial, I couldn't come close to matching your results. You Sir, IMHO, are one highly skilled individual with a baitcaster. Congrats!
  4. Hootie, I lied! It was only a little white lie though. I did place an order for the Scorpion 200 with Japan Tackle but I placed it when Jun and Kayo were on their short vacation. That gave me time to think.......or rethink.......my order. I changed my mind and I bought another XT1000. It's such a sweet little reel that I had to have another. Since then, I bought another Scorpion XT1500-7 to replace the one that I shouldn't have sold and another XT1000. I now have 4 XT1000's. Japan Lure Shop does have a really good price on the Scorpion 200HG and I am seriously considering getting one from them.
  5. How far do you throw it with that setup?
  6. Their Site says that they have the 200 and 200HG in stock.
  7. Usually around $15.00 for me.
  8. They sent me an email saying that the XT1000 was not in stock and they had to get it from Shimano and it will be shipped on the 17th. It was shipped on the 17th and delivered today and we missed it. They also didn't send me any tracking info. I sent them an email last night wanting to know if the order had been shipped and if it hasn't just go ahead and cancel my order but it had already been shipped on the 17th.
  9. You got lucky! Why don't you do a search on finesse and you will find out that you got lucky! You can also do a Google Search for BFS Rod or BFS Reel. That's 'Bait Finesse System'. There is a reason that guys buy a Daiwa Pixy, Aldebaran BFS or the other reels made for BFS and spools for their reels that are not already setup for throwing lightweight lures. And then there are the casting rods that are made for throwing lightweight lures. I am using a Shimano XT1000 with a Yumeya BFS Spool and with 10# Power Pro and a 2 Power Loomis, I am throwing a weightless Trick Worm over 20 yards. I am pretty happy with that and my rod isn't even the right rod for the job. So if you assume that finesse means spinning, you are wrong!
  10. Around here, your assumption that it is spinning is wrong.
  11. I can't wait to see a pic of that Maryland Snook.
  12. I am sure that it also played a part in the pass instead of run decision that Pete Carroll made in the Super Bowl. LMAO
  13. Kinda surprised to read this with all of the Global Warming going on. LOL
  14. X2 - Japan Lure Shop At that price, I am going to buy another XT1000 right after I post this. $167.24 shipped for a NIB XT1000 is too good of a deal to pass up. To the original poster, this was my fourth purchase from Japan Lure Shop and the previous three went smooth with no problems.
  15. Thanks Screw that! Over $400.00 at TW and under $300.00 at Digitaka. I know where I will be buying mine. LOL
  16. Are these coming out at the end of Feb or in March sometime? I agree, the Aldebaran looks bad ass except for the knob caps.
  17. I use the same rod as Maico 1, (I bought it because of his recommendation) but I now have a Curado 50E mounted on it.
  18. I believe that out of the box, the XT1000 is a better reel than a CU50E. According to Japan Tackle, XT stands for Xtra Tune. It is smoother, has better spool bearings and aluminum knob caps.
  19. John G

    New 9Mm

I have been carrying a Glock 19 for years! It is light, thin, 15 + 1 and IMHO, the AK of pistols. All Glocks are the AK's of pistols but the 19 is perfect in every way.
  20. I have not seen a holster that does not rub the finish on a gun.
  21. There are waaaay to many older IMX's out there for sale for me to even consider a newer IMX.
