  1. I'm in!!!
  2. At 15 bucks each I think I'll stick with LC's... It is an interesting idea, just not something I think I need out of life.
  3. If by bad luck you mean having numerous big bass hit them and literally tear the bait apart because they want it dead, then yeah I've had "bad" luck with the baby bass too QUE? I dont see "bad luck" anywhere in there... :-? WOW...I completely mis-read that! Gotta start waiting till at least noon to start drinkin' :-[

  5. I use black electrical tape to attach them to rod tips or to bobbers when I'm night fishing, I always have a roll of the tape in my tackle bag now.
  6. I doubt I'll buy any of the Storm soft swimbaits again. I have tried several different ones and have found that about 2 out of 5 won't swim right and even the ones that do don't get much bass love...It's a shame, some of them look great, they just don't work for me.
  7. Pop-eye jigs tipped with a live minnow. That combo has been the end of many crappie...(I have also stuck numerous LMB's in the 3.5-5 pound range on it)
  8. I always grab them by the underside. Put your thumb just under one pectoral fin and put the other between your middle and index fingers. Don't hesitate on it and make sure your grip is tight enough that it can't squirm around. I have never had one close the pectoral fins on my fingers but I have had them wiggle enough for the back side of the spine to cut into my finger. Catfishing is a good way to get rid of extra blood no matter how many times you do it but like etommy28 said, freshwater cats are not much to worry about...
  9. I ate this one...and after tasting it I will be eating the next one I catch too...he was quite tasty...
  10. I had a friend that bought some and I fished it a little while we were out one day. I didn't care for it at all...seemed to have no real advantage and it seemed cumbersome and stiff, I didn't notice any real line abrasion but I also didn't like it and only threw it 10-15 times before I went back to my YoZuri Hybrid. IMO there are several better lines for the money and if you tie a good palomar knot and moisten the line before tightening it you don't need super knot strength
  11. I use the trebles sometimes and have yet to have a problem with them. They really don't stick out as overly good or bad to me. On a side note, I have peeled the label off of several bags of them and found VMC logos on the package underneath...not sure why it was there but it was...
  12. I believe they have a couple of pretty big money bow fishing tourneys for them each year around KY and Barkley Lakes. They donate them to local game reserves for feeding rehab animals and injured/non-releasable eagles and such. I have been luck to not have caught one thus far...I know they are destructive and I know they should be destroyed, but I hate to kill anything I don't plan to eat. I hear they are actually very tasty, but very hard to clean!
  13. I would say that I love the line overall. Use the 6 or 8 pound on your spinning gear unless you have some large caliber reels (I use 12 on my BPS Pro Qualifier size 4000 with no problems). I really think it is superior to mono and doesn't have some of the negative properties of fluoro...it is strong, can be used top water (sinks, but not like fluoro) or under, and is pretty abrasion resistant. Again, I would say all that but instead I'll say...the line is junk, you should send me all the spools of it for $1 each and I will safely "dispose" of it for you
  14. 6 for 36$, you got a steal. Excellent purchase, count me as jealous. I wish I could have gotten all 4 sets they had...but I like being married more than I like Lucky's on sale (most of the time anyways)
  15. Haven't got to try them yet but I picked up a pack of 6 Rick Clunn special Lucky Craft's from BPS last weekend for 36 bucks ...can't wait for spring!
