  1. Dobyns Sierra 734c is my choice.
  2. I actually went all the way to final step and it's not applying the discount, tried a Shimano reel and a rod two separate times.
  3. Edited again because it's not working with Shimano for me. I've tried both rods and reels.
  4. Nice, thanks for the help. I'm seriously leaning towards the Expride. Especially since it has pretty much the same specs as my current Avid X which I love everything about but the reel seat makes my hand hurt.
  5. I only fish Senkos and Ned with spinning gear, and won't ever change that..... Thanks for the suggestion!
  6. I'm now throwing the new Zodias in the mix, looking at the 69MF. I'll probably order this weekend to take advantage of the sale.
  7. Yeah, the only one I own is the 610 MM which I use for 1.5 squarebills. I plan on adding more soon because my favorite technique is crankbait fishing.
  8. My Legend Glass is the nicest and most fun crankbait rod I've ever owned.
  9. Been using 6# YZH on my weightless Senko setup for years. Oh and I only fish weightless Senkos on a spinning outfit.
  10. Yeah, it helps IMO. I use it on all my line except of course braid.
  11. Why would you want to downgrade?
  12. Boomerang stays clipped to my NRS vest when on the yak. I also always have a variation of a Sypderco Salt knife clipped to my right pocket.
  13. My 610 MM Legend Glass is my favorite rod I've ever owned for crankbaits, it's an absolute gem. But with that said, I wouldn't fish chatterbaits with it.
  14. It popped up on TW but has since been removed. I'm a little upset if it's just a repainted Tranx but I'll probably grab one for my Dobyns 806 to throw bigger swimbaits.
  15. Just curious as to why you think braid is such a "game changer" on spinning reels? I want to try some on my Senko rig. Thanks
  16. I've got two Nasci's and honestly they're just as smooth as my Stradic Ci4+. I don't use spinning reels a lot, only on finesse, Ned rigs, and weightless Senkos. But both my Nascis have been great so far. Oh, and they both came in a box.
  17. Awesome, I think it'll be great for those techniques. Post some pics and a review after you get it!
  18. Because people get excited about new things, rods, reels, bass boats, cars, trucks, etc. etc. Why are you so negative?
  19. Yeah, I much prefer the look of the all silver 70 over this new one. I never really cared for the green accents on my Curado K's. They don't match any of my rods at all. Oh well, I'll still probably grab one of these to try!
