  1. I just got a new 68mxf Expride to use as a Senko specific rod and it's amazing. I've yet to fish it but everything about it is awesome.
  2. After trying many different rods I think I finally have settled on my ultimate weightless Senko combo. Adding a hook keeper to my new Expride was a game changer.
  3. My Senko specific rod (weightless TR'd, and wacky rigged) is an Expride 68 MXF
  4. Yeah, I have three Sierra 734c rods and I'd put that rod up against several other more expensive rods I own. It's very versatile, lightweight, and strong. You can't go wrong.
  5. Just wanted to update this, I ended up going with the 68 MXF Expride as it finally came back in stock. It has the specs closest to my old Senko specific rod, the 68 MXF Avid X. Hopefully it arrives before this weekend.
  6. I'll echo what everyone has mentioned already but I love my SLX and Curado 70 MGL reels.
  7. Yes, watch the vid above and they talk about how the new model feels so much stronger.
  8. What are you throwing with it? I think my 853c seems way underpowered and it's funny what the guys at TB said above in the vid about thinking it's going to break at any moment, haha. I completely agree. But, the sensitivity is there. I've actually heard and read the 873CRR is a step above the 853c and 893c.
  9. For 1.5 and slightly larger crankbaits I use a Legend Glass 610MM and it's the most fun rod in my arsenal IMO.
  10. I won't ship rods so when I do sell (I usually just keep them) I'll either sell on FB marketplace, Craigslist or put them on consignment at my local tackle shop for store credit, haha.
  11. When you fish the texas rigged 5" Senko what kind of cover/vegetation are you fishing? I actually went back to my local tackle shop and handled the 69M again and it didn't feel as stiff as when I handled it previously. It actually felt more like a Medium rather than the MH it felt like when I handled it last time. Ugh, can't decide. I still can't decide, haha. I'd buy both but really don't have use for two dedicated Senko setups and that's all I'll fish with this rod.
  12. Nice, now I just need to decide on a 873CRR or 854c.
  13. So glad they are split grips.
  14. This might help. I'm in the exact same dilemma. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/233523-2020-zodias-spinning-inquiry/?tab=comments#comment-2710431
  15. Yes, shortage on everything! I work in the lumber/building material industry and it's awful, both prices and supply. On another note I tried to go buy a new bike yesterday and they're not going to have one in stock until August!
  16. I hope they have split grips.
  17. I have several Sierra spinning rods and IMO they're much better than the Daiwa Tatula. I'd definetely upgrade the Tatulat to a Champion.
  18. Really? I've always seen and heard of people not using it on braid. But back to the OP question, like others have said, I spray it on the night before.
  19. If they're the Conquest handles then yes.
  20. Well, my local tackle shop ended up having one in stock but it was the 7M, so I got to handle it in person. Unfortunately they didn't have a ML in stock so I couldn't compare. But I will say the Medium for me feels like a MH, very stiff. I'm going to hold off on purchasing until I can handle a ML and compare.
  21. Bummer, I won't be buying any more NRX rods if they're full cork.
  22. Thanks, yeah 90% of the time I'll have a 5" Senko tied on.
