What do you guys think? has anyone seen or heard anything about this site?
dude I trow a 12" worm a still get perch and 6-8" bass hit it. I literaly watch them hit it so a 6" bait aint nothing. If I throw a 6" senko I catch 8" bass all day. On the 12" worn I've caught fish smaller than the worm so don't over look it. Try a attractant.
It might just be small fish like pan fish or something. Try using some sort of attractant so they will inhale and hold on longer. I recomend a jell over spray it last longer.
Can't wait to apply this on the lake soon. To bad I can't use this helpfull information on my home waters, its only 6' deep at the max but it has alot of slop and tidle move ment.
Me and my fishin buddy was talking today about lake records, if we would keep them or not. What we didn't know was do bass stop spawning after a certain age or not?
Trust me sir im very into it. I do live a good bit away but plan on making trips there yhis year that is why I asked for the help. I just need to get one of those maps that he mentioned. I've been reading every post and im waiting for more. Plus these tips also works on other lakes as well. So when catts ready he does have students here willing to learn.
So what your saying is that if there's a school of fish busting the surface on shad in 25' of water your confidence is gunna be in throwing a worm over a spinnerbait or jerk bait.
I think your confusing confidence in a lure with favorites.
My opinion of confidence is if your throwing a 10" red shad worm and you feel that you should be throwing a crankbait your not going to work the worm the way you should be becouse you feel its not the right bait at that time as you would be if you threw the crankbait.
I've fished the magnums with a 1/8 weighted hook and did very well. The action it has with the weight is unique. You can actualy make the bait turn around and star decending backwards. It looks like a injured bait fish.
I just jerk the rod up from a 9 oclock position to a 12 oclock position and then let the bait fall with slack line. Pay close attention to your line becouse not all the time you feel the bite.
Go try it you might like the action Iknow I do.
Me and Batou Kritter went out this evening on our local lake. We started out throwing worms, brush hogs and whatever until the sun started to set then it was on. It seemed like someone turned on a light switch. We had only caught a few dinks before we went into the slop with the infamous Rage Tail. We started throwing the frog and the bite was good then we ran out (forgot to stock up). So I had some of the shads and space monkeys. These two were just as good in the thick slop that we love to fish. We couldn't keep the fish off for an hour and a half. It was a very good evening for us and I was able to catch the big fish of the day. This nice 5 lber came on the last frog we had.
A parish boy here looking for some advice on what end of the lake I should fish and some patterns to try. I plan on making the trip in late sept early oct. I have a decent boat so I can get around pretty decent. Geaux Tigers
If he not hurting the fish, not hurting the lake, and is not harming you or anyone why would you even care? I see people braking the law every day but I don't go around taking pictures and telling on them If there not hurting someone or puting them in danger.
