  1. This is partially for RiverFisher13, who sent me a PM but I can't reply because I don't enough posts yet, but it's for anyone else as well. RiverFisher13 asked about any advice I might have for the AEP Recreation Ponds and I'd say the first thing he and anyone else should do is go over to ohiogamefishing.com and look up the posts on the AEP ponds in Southeast section. After that, if you still have any questions, go ahead and send me a PM on that site (I have the same screen name there - thedon255) and I'd be more than happy to answer any questions.
  2. I'm Don from Marietta. I fish mostly at the AEP Recreation Lands with my float tube and if I'm not there, then I'm wading at either Devols Dam or Lowell Dam on the Muskingum River.
  3. I haven't fished a body of water created by a beaver dam before but I've fished several pre-existing ponds where beavers had moved in. I've always caught fish directly off of the beaver lodges and it's also where I usually find the biggest fish in that pond. If you think about it, a beaver dam or lodge provides instant cover for the fish. So definitely, if the stream held fish before the beavers moved in, try it out and target the beaver's dam. You might even end up with the biggest, hardest fighting catch of your life - an angry 40 pound rodent.
