  2. So...What's the decimal point for 11lb 10oz?
  3. I want one! I hope nobody else hears of these... ;D
  4. And how is that ?
  5. For those of you that have fished with a french fry or centipede, can you tell us what is different about this bait and what action it gives out when fished. I guess I am curious how it reacts versus a senko? When and how would you use one? Seems to be a bait not used that often. Or talked about at least.
  6. I agree the BPS Crankin Sticks are nice rods. You can find them on sale during the year for under $30. I own a handful for full time use and as back ups.
  7. A couple tunafish sandwiches to stay with the fish theme..lol...and of course a pack or two of some good beef jerky for protein.
  8. I've owned a number of BPS rods over the past couple years and the crankin stick has held up better than the more expensive rods. For under $30, I'm gonna pick up at least two more now while they are on sale.
  9. Pond or small river fishing if i have a day off thats at least in the 40's. Boat is packed up probably until March or April when it hits in the 50's or 60's again. Dam/ i hate this time of the year!
  10. The trim will only go down when the engine is running or immediately after charging the cranking battery. Tested the cranking battery and its fine. I also switched the relays with no success. Can anyone give me some other things to try? This is my first boat so i'm kinda new to this....Thnx.
  11. If your gonna tournament fish once or twice a month you will have to consider gas costs. I'll pretty much use almost a full tank each tournament wich runs around $60-$90 depending on the price per gallon. However, if you plan on practicing a few times a month like myself , that can triple or quadruple your monthly costs on gas and oil. I go out about 4 times a month total which runs about $300/mo. x 6 or 7 months= about $2000 a yr. not including broken trolling motor, batteries, tires, tune-ups or anything else that may break...it s all worth it if you can afford it...Good luck!!!
  12. Have a '98 Johnson trolling motor. I damaged it in rough water and need the main arm brace, cable, lift cord and clamp for the motor arm. I know they don't make the motor or parts for it anymore. Any suggestions on where to look for parts? The model no. is BFL 4PP.98. It has a 42" shaft. Thanx for any help!
  13. Bought my used Stratos last year so I'm kinda new to bass boating. Currently i have my plano boxes organized and tossed in with them I have worm bags everywhere in my storage locker. I've seen some sort of hook organizers but not sure where to find them..? How do ya guys store and organize your worm bags on ur boats??
  14. I will fish the Potomac River tourney....let me know.
  15. Many guys swear by BassBoatSaver to clean their boats but I am not sure if it cleans their scum lines. I'de check it though. I know a cleaner that works well on grime called Krud Cutter. It comes in a white bottle like 409 does. It works real well. You can find it at Lowe's I know. Good luck!
  16. Somebody has issues!
  17. Guess it's a big secret why you asked@! Benson?
  18. It seems bad manners, rude behavior and outright arrogance are all common characteristics of bass tournaments only. Maybe is has something to do with "Small Fish Syndrome."
  19. Why do you ask?
  20. Thanks Cart. I know they arent worth a d**n. Guess I am just bored with my new used boat. Appreciate it.
  21. The pitot broke off. I need to replace it. Question...once installed is it supposed to flap around or sit in a stationary position to read properly? Really dumb question I know! Thanx.
  22. Great info. Your the man Way2! Thanx. What is this can of solution called?
  23. De-carbing? Is that just adding Seafoam to the gas? If not can I de-carb myself and how?
