  1. Will do, thanks Marty.
  2. Does anyone have a contact number? The website is not working. Thanks.
  3. Good read
  4. Last year BTD had a 20 percent off sale in early Feb. Many of the retailers will have sales on major holidays. Thanksgiving sales might be the best.
  5. Yes, Jackall TN series and Yozuri Hardcore Drum.
  6. I believe it may not be available as Z-Man was awarded the chatterbait patent.
  7. Vision 110s, Flashminnows, and Pointers have all produced very well for me.
  8. I bought a Black Dog Lunker Punker this year. The Shell Cracker looks good as well. Lots of good wake bait options.
  9. Shallow Shad Rap, LC Mini Skeet MR, and WEC Hicky are good shallow/silent baits for clear water.
  10. Thank you all for the help. Mike is going to take a look at them.
  11. I have had an ongoing problem with my Steez baitcasters. If temps are below 50 and it is raining the anti-reverse will begin to fail after an hour or so of fishing. The handle will intermittently spin backwards on hooksets or anytime I rip baits from grass. It happened today while I was fishing. Once it starts to fail I obviously can not use the reel. This evening I removed the sideplate and spool. They are drying out in a spare bedroom. The reels will work fine tomorrow. Does anyone else have this problem? Daiwa was unbable to correct the problem in the past and I have not had good experiences with their service dept. Thanks. Lou
  12. Wec Hicky

  14. Late Summer and early Fall are one of the best times to throw a buzzbait.
  15. I bought a bunch of these when they became popular a few years back. I like the Swim Blade best but Gambler stopped making them a few years back. I think I only have one left. One small negative- I found that the split ring on the Swim BLade can open up a bit after a few fish. It can interfere with the blade which sometimes requires a little snap of your rod tip to get it going again. I have been eying the Piranha by D&M and would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used it.
  16. Like others have said you can find good cranks in any price range. ....but it is the attributes of one bait, not brand, that make it good in a particular situation vs another. Determine the depth and speed you want and then find a bait that can fill that need. There are lots of things to consider but depth and speed are at the top for me.
  17. Yes, these worms tear easily. Robos float so keep an eye for them on the surface. I retrieve a lot of them this way.
  18. The Spider Sliders use a thin wire bronze hook that rust very easily. The Pro Series hook is thicker. Also, I believe the weights for the SPider SLiders are a bit over-estimated. For ex, the 1/8 ounce Spiders feel more like 1/16. ..I like using the lighter Spider Jigs for some finesse stuff.
  19. I get more fish on crankbaits and lipless crankbaits than any other reaction bait. Like anything else they need to be worked at the right speed and depth.
  20. Chris you beat me to it. +1 on Bandits, Norman, Bomber, Wiggle Warts, Speed Traps, and Rapala.
  21. I will p/u a bag of these on my next order.
  22. I believe I used the same hook, Gammy Finesse Wide Gap 1/0. This was the recommendation of Huskybass from a few years back. I will have to give it another try.
  23. Nose hooking makes the fluke dive head first and faster. Are you guys working it faster to keep it from diving head first?
  24. I will probably keep these hooks in my bag but not for Trick Worms as the heads are tapered.
