has anyone been out to any of the lakes in NOVA like Mercer, Huntsman, Braddock, Royal, or Accotink yet? If so are the fish active, or are they still hideing? I was thinking of heading over that way this week sometime, and was wondering if anyone had been out there recently.

Nice fish man, I went fishing at a pond here in Manassas today and caught my first fish this year, a nice 3 lb LMB. So I guess the long winter is over... of course it is supposed to snow tomorrow.. >

yes you can get into the exchange but the only thing you can buy is a fishing pass, they sell them at the sporting goods counter, however when I went it was on a saturday and the counter didnt open till 10am even though the exchange opened at 8am. I dont know if that has changed or not... you might want to call them to find out, and or go out there today and get your pass... I may see yall out there cause I was thinking of heading to chop creek if the weather wasent too bad...

Hey guys, Im kind of new here but I wanted to let you know, they dont start selling permits till 10:00 am, so if any of you need to get permits you might want to get them earlyer. (at least thats how it was this summer when I went out there... Killed half a day of fishing. >..) anayway good luck, I hope you catch some big ones.

Hey Guys, I new to this message board, I am glad I found this site. So here is the question I have been dying to ask, where are some good places to fish in the Manassas/Warrenton aera. I am looking for a nice bass hole and a place to do some catfishing. and possibly somthing that is open after dark would be nice.... just dont say Brittle or I will pull my hair out, that place seems to be no good without a boat and then it is marginal at best. also for those who live in the Manassas aera I have found a pond but I am not sure if it is legal to fish there, P.M. me and I can show you where it is and we might be able to figure it out.
